It's alright but not as good as it could have been, instead of going for it at 4-4, the beat is slightly weak, vocal is quite good though. I've only had 2 of these in 20 years, it's pretty rare.

I think a lot come from a company called Song Seekers. I may be wrong.

It's an acetate supplied to Russ by Simon Soussan 1974-75. I've had it at least 20 years as have loads of people...in fact it was on one of my 'unissued stuff' podcasts

Why can't they both be legal, anyone can license anything

People say that, but I've never been able to remove any kind of warp without ironing it! And 75% of those go wrong.

It's right though isn't it, £15 - £20 tops, why would anyone pay £150 for something they could easily get for 10% of that price?

Not often me and you disagree but I think Woman Love Thief is a better song. I don't think Stemmons Express are a better group!

It's one of the exceptions. Bessie Banks version sounds like an unfinished demo. Just because it's the black version doesn't make it the best.
