  1. Cracking list Grant
  2. Take two classics, smash the 45's to pieces, glue them back together and this is what you end up with
  3. I've put about 450 items onto Discogs now. Northern Soul Ska & reggae 60's beat rare & obscure 45's from all eras. God knows where this is going to end, I must have a few thousand records in the shed! Anyway please have a look if you have nothing to do for an hour :-) https://www.discogs.com/seller/pete.smith you can make offers on most as well
  4. £7.50 is obscene for that record.
  5. You could guess for a year and still never know who that was by unless you already knew. Came out on cd about 20 years ago though not just on the flexi.
  6. Orchestra Harlow - Horsin' Up
  7. Ton of Dynamite - Frankie Crocker
  8. I'll PM you Dennis.
  9. No, not really, I mean sell 20 records but price them individually as you'll get more for them than if you sold them as a batch of 20. Also don't forget while maybe 10% of the pressings and reissues are sought after, the other 90% can be pretty bog standard £3 to £5 types of thing.
  10. In that case what I'd do if I were you, is make a list of them, and sell them on here by set sale. Twenty or so at a time. Ones you don't sell, put them on ebay.
  11. By the way, I'll buy em all off you in one go save you messing about with ebay and postage
  12. No it's not, it's about right, that pays for first class recorded delivery and 10p for the mailer and cardboard. If you don't send recorded, then £1.30 is about right
  13. Do have a read of this...you'll find your answer
  14. A Northern Soul book without any Northern Soul records featured?
  15. Can't play mp3's on my record player mate. Or my decks. I've got 50,000+ mp3's, they don't mean a thing. A record is a record and vinyl means everything.
  16. Me, I buy loads, I sold all mine and I miss them so I'm buying them again - just my favourite records sort of thing - plus I buy all the Outasite reissues as well. At least I've got something I can play.
  17. Bit optimistic I think Glyn. I'd ask £15 for that - £20 in mint maybe.
  18. Never understood why people get fooled by this, the vinyl is way thinner and more flexible on the original and it's machine stamped
  19. Which design - never heard of this, ever. Only the red label one.
  20. You are correct Gene, 82 or 83.
  21. Just wanted to let everyone know that I am no longer going to be listing any record on Ebay, for various reasons, mainly because of their greed and lack of support for sellers. What I have done instead is switch to DISCOGS. I've started to list my singles on there but I've got thousands so it's going to be a long process, however, there's a few hundred up there already, not all soul but some Soul, Reggae, Pop, 50's, 60's and so on. Eventually I'll get everything on there. So please feel to have a browse and on many items I've put the option to make an offer so you can haggle over the price if you feel that way inclined. https://www.discogs.com/seller/pete.smith cheers Pete p.s. this has no effect on whatever lists I put out of course
  22. No not if it's on an acetate, sorry!
  23. That's a printing mistake, it's worth 10 - 15 quid.
  24. Dave - come on now.
