  6. Bazza, it's pretty well known, in fact there is / I've got footage of them performing this on TV in America.
  7. Yeah spoke to Mick this morning about this one and he says he thinks he's going to break the world record for a copy of a Joy Lovejoy reissue

  11. NO sold that one I'm afraid...sold practically all of them to be honest
  12. Sorry Benji must have been thinking the same thing at the same time!
  13. The fact that this guy put another record out on Sandy Golden means that he must have been her partner or manager and just wanted to get her a hit, so they did this private pressing using an old backing track and did a bit of overdubbing, new song and vocal, and got it pressed. Then one day he tragically slipped on a discarded banana skin on an L.A. sidewalk which meant he couldn't self distribute the record, and the only copies that escaped were the ones he gave out to those who took the time to visit him in hospital, the rest sit undisturbed in his garage.
  14. Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, you find this stuff on MarVLus, One derful 45's...hard to describe, but you have to wash them before you can play them
  15. What's that stuff on a lot of mint Chicago records, it's like an oily film
  16. I can't even think of a reply I"m so shocked
  17. Well maybe they are, but I don't think it is. And as I was the first one to come up with all these crackpot theories anyway
  18. I don't think that is in dispute!
  19. Jim, Richard is a Wulfrunian. We do not like being confused with Brummies. They are lower down the evolutionary scale.
  20. I don't know anyone apart from ebay d*ckheads who'd pay £50 for it, £15 maybe, at a push
  21. Sometimes if you can't see the emoticons they are there but you just have to scroll the page up a bit and you'll see them. I didn't see them for ages.
  22. Fraid not sorry
  23. I have it down as being a Jamaican release from 64 on a label called Starline
  24. No basically, the covered absolutely everything, they were an uptown show group which covered all the hits of the period.
