  1. I remember buying this from Jenks' newsagents in Wombourne on the fried egg Concord label, that would be what, 1970-71, I asked for "Black feeling in motion", I'd heard it played by Emperor Rosko on his lunchtime show on a saturday

  11. So what do you think then Steve, about the £100 price tag I mean? I think I can sell this for as much I can sell the Decca one for, £20.
  12. Am looking for the price of CHOCOLAT'S - VOLTAIRE PIER on UK AQUARIUS AQ 1. It's the same record as CHOCOLATE BOYS on DECCA. JM has it at £100. I want to sell it though. I think this may have come out AFTER the Decca one but am not sure.

  14. Blues Busters not worth much. Was a big seller, £20 tops. Or £150 if you auction it No idea about the Sue one. Gospel Classics issue £75
  15. Robb I had a press cutting about Shawn Robinson when she signed for Minit, I doubt I'll find it now but someone else might have a copy of it
  16. No mate was just going by condition and also the fact I still see a lot of British stuff so it's not quite as exotic as it used to be...
  17. If it were me selling them - Holidays in that nick 50 I guess, tend to sell it for 75 in ex Eyes Of Blue 30 Cherry Wainer probably the toughest of the three nowadays - 40 / 50
  18. Thats either a different version or it's been doctored, but it's more blue eyed than Shawn Robinson's version
  19. I've put 75 or so new additions to the Soul section, nothing very rare but some decent cheapies https://www.discogs.com/seller/pete.smith I should have added maybe 150 more by the end of the weekend cheers Pete
  20. They ought to call it the second edition seeing as the actual second edition was practically identical to the first
  21. Wow! Though I think the context is a bit different, the band were from Manchester and their soul scene would have been in the North I suppose...but yeah, can't dispute that proof
  22. Come on Keb and Edith, we're all praying for you here
