  1. I think that's the one Pete mentions above?
  2. You can see the patches on the label in that photo though, especially top right. I'm sure the matrix details will differ as well though.
  3. Yeah all over there are small patches where the label is rough, it's hard to explain
  4. Kegsy, all you need to do (with the green one) is look at the label, if it's not completely smooth i.e. small rough patches, it's the boot. I've had boots with drill holes in, people put them in to make them look authentic
  5. It was Steve, I remember thinking they'd missed the boat with that one (and also not releasing I've Got The Need off the Moments lp despite overwhelming demand for it)
  6. It could but was thinking it was using the USA way of writing the date
  7. Pete S replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
    I'd have thought £150 maybe...
  8. Also, that scan at the top, that has a date of June 1st on it, well I went to the Casino in April and it was being played then, I know that because it was on the first ever tape I recorded there along with Little Joe Cook, Marion Love, Joey Dee etc...strange that it has a date at least two months after that
  9. Can I just say what a fantastic record this is
  10. They must have run them simultaneously Steve, I bought that when it was being imported and played and it was definitely the orange one. I think.
  11. Thats the first issue as far as I know, but as stated, they just redesigned the label
  12. One of the best Tops tracks ever! Played it to death as a kid, off the MFP album
  13. According to 45 Cat it's 1974 but I had it way before then.
  14. Pete S replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
That's the first issue, it's not particularly rare, £15 or so in decent condition, but the red and white demo copy is worth at least £500.
  15. I remember buying this from Jenks' newsagents in Wombourne on the fried egg Concord label, that would be what, 1970-71, I asked for "Black feeling in motion", I'd heard it played by Emperor Rosko on his lunchtime show on a saturday
  16. No, they are nothing like buses. Have you ever tried catching a record to work?
  17. Came out as Aspirations and Admirations
  18. I didn't mean you knew sod all, I meant whoever it was who paid that price!
  19. There's a second 70's boot by the way, has Detroit Executives on the other side
  20. The 70's boot - £20 to £30. Anyone paying more knows sod all about records.
