  1. Should nominate it for comedy sale of the day!
  2. I've already got the first one mate, red andy yellow label; not really collecting or buying at the moment to be honest, selling off my remaining best bits - but thanks for the offer
  3. It's not very good.
  4. It did, way before the 60's, remember those kiddies records in multicoloured vinyl, nursery rhymes etc
  5. No I think they're all originals, imported as a new release. The white demo is seriously rare though.

Just let him know if there's anything I can do to help, I'd be happy to - I can send details to everyone on my mailing list, facebook etc. Out of a couple of thousand people, one of them must be able to get some information.
  7. Not me! I do mine for £2. But anyone bootlegging a charity DVD is on the same level as someone stealing Poppy Day money from a collection box. Sooty, don't overestimate the market mate, I haven't bought a DVD of any description for years due to being able to watch online or download, not saying yours is gonna be available as a download but I don't think people feel the need to have a touchable product so much nowadays. Apart from vinyl of course.
  8. Might be someone using a pitch control program Dave, she has a deep voice anyway so it would only have to be slowed down a little to make it sound like a male singer

It was, he had it covered up for ages as Cindy Scott. Richard also played Prince & Princess.
  10. Put it on ebay and leave it there, don't end the auction early, make sure you get a good recording of about two thirds of it up there though, without sound, much less chance of big money!

It's hard to remember specific weeks now, maybe the one I have was the second week it was played, because people seemed to know it by then?
  12. No, Wide Awake In A Dream on BRA, red vinyl
  13. It's not fit to lace the Professionals boots though!
  14. Bit impersonal LOL like calling someone Dick in fact
  15. There's a Tonnettes on red vinyl, all those Bobby Patterson things on yellow vinyl, various coloured vinyl 60's bootlegs from P.A. including The Volumes, Blues Busters on red vinyl though thats Jamaican I think...
  16. Thats the carver, yes
  17. How many Martin's do you remember being in the Bible? Maybe we forgot about them along with all the Alberts, Normans and Cyrils. "And God did sayeth unto Frank...."
  18. I'd love to know why there is a gold vinyl of The Professionals. Was it to get it noticed?
  19. It 100% definitely sold on ebay, I did 3 carvers off the recordings so I know I'm not imagining it. Thought it was less than that price though...
  20. Definitely some great items added to that auction - except for Tobbie Bowe
  21. I wonder why John is saying it's the first time it's ever appeared on the web, it was on ebay with full sound clips of both sides, someone on here won it..
  22. See what you mean. It's swinging alright but as far removed from Northern Soul as anything I've ever heard.
