Yes those are just the first series before it changed to a four figure numbering system in 1966, some of those are seriously rare

Here’s an extra mix for this week, I did mention I had quite a lot of new records and on Friday I was only really playing rarer stuff, so I just fancied doing a compilation of maybe lesser known and obscure and affordable records. So, maybe worth giving some of these a listen, you never know. All for sale as well except for the first track and the last four. The Martells – Where Can My Baby Be Rhetta Hughes – Cry Myself To Sleep Otis Clay – Gotta Find A Way Mary Wells – Use Your Head Tommy Hubt – Never Love A Robin Oscar Perry – Main String Irma Thomas – What Are You Trying To Do The Neptunes – That’s An Awful Thing To Say Girl Yvonne Carroll – Please Don’t Go Etta James – Mellow Fellow Jackie Shane – In My Tenement Marlina Mars – Head And Shoulders Kim Weston – I’m Still Loving You Baby Washington – It’ll Never Be Over For Me The Lovemasters – Pushin’ And Pullin’ Bunny Shivel – Top Twenty Jimmy Hughes – It Ain’t What You Got Gerald Sims – Cool Breeze Curtis Griffin – I Gotta Lump Etta James & Sugar Pie De Santo – Down In The Basement Amanda Love – You Keep Calling Her By My Name – Starville Barbra Carr – Shake Your Head Lou Rawls – The House Next Door Mill Evans – I’ve Got To Have Your Love The Buckner Brothers – Love You From The Bottom Of My Heart The Volumes – You Got It Baby Ruby Sherry – Feminine Ingenuity Linda Jones & The Whatnauts – I’m So Glad I Found You Thelma Jones – Oh Oh Here Comes The Heartrbreak Z. I would be looking for £1200 worth of trades at normal valuations not auction prices. I don't mind if it's a couple of records or a dozen as long as they are good originals and I can sell them. Condition: if I was being super safe I would say VG++ but in reality it is EX and plays MINT. I only go down to VG++ because it has a few hairline marks on it. The other side just slightly lesser. So if interested, sort some stuff out and message, email or phone me. I won't jump at the first offer though I'll wait a week. I'm not desperate to get rid of this but it's just sat there doing nothing! There's two of those but neither is IL, first one was out a good 2 years before with same track both sides then another appeared with the proper B side.
-
Is this anything? Sort of crossover type sound. Presumably this is Dave Hamilton's label as he wrote and produced it. Not my cup of tea really...
-
Anyone else like the Billy Vera version - I think it's great
-
The boot demo has a really pronounced ridge and dip
-
Carmel Strings, I hear a symphony, white label??
Pete S replied to Suinoz's topic in Look At Your Box
That was a £15 record at the time so it made sense to boot it, they came out end of 76 -

Earlier Steve, 1975 -
Those are nothing to do with the ones above they are from the same people who actually copied the Magnetics, Sam Williams and Billy Woods from the original lot - bootlegs of bootlegs
-
Theres a pale blue issue bootleg as well, the bootleg demo is vinyl, the original is styrene
-
No thats the boot
-
And of course there's not many people going to be making offers on the records on the list because most can be found elsewhere quite easily, cheaply.
