  1. Please yerselves...I'm telling you it's tough...and it is
  2. Only ever had 2 mate - ever!
  3. Well when the clicks on 6 0 clock, whoever has the highest bid wins...can't think of any other way, am open to suggestions though
  4. Yeah they will say it's a standard stock photo used by everyone. But he only has 4 soul records and all are worth over £1000. It's the same guy under a different name and someone's gonna get scammed. I've done my bit last time though..
  5. Is it that guy who I got kicked off a couple of months back, pulling a scam again - Italy by any chance?
  6. Reach Out For Me made number 74 on the Billboard pop charts, which is why I was sceptical about the need to bootleg it.
  7. Well done mate, that was an excellent honest review.
  8. I love this record, reminds me of very early days at the youth club. Rare on a US demo.
  9. Update £5500 now top bid
  10. And if it were mine I'd have bitten your hand off!
  11. So am I considering the piece of crap camera I took it with, this is a camera that won't usually go into focus when taking a pic of a black record label!
  12. I think it's because it just went a bit too far back in time (literally, to the 50's) to the point where R & B was almost indistinguishable from rock & roll. If you think of something brilliant like Jimmy Robbins - I Can't Please You, which people call R & B but I thunk is out and out Northern, then compare it to say Charles Sheffield, one is NS, the other is R&R. I like it but I think maybe some have pushed it to it's limits and it could live a happy life away from NS, and probably does anyway.
  13. Well what did you think? You're probably the only one on here who went!
  14. No probs, sorry couldn't remember where I'd seen it. Did sell it though so, result..
  15. Yeah I think I;d want £100 to £125 for a Fidels. £150 to £200 for Marie Knight.
  16. I've got a near mint black issue if anyone's interested. £35 Ten times harder than the white demo.
  17. Every week I stare in disbelief at these prices, I sell Donnie Elbert for £25 absolute tops. What's wrong with these people?
  18. No, I don't think it is, going by my experiences. I've had four issues. In the early days of ebay I got two for under £100. Ah, memories.
  19. Still think it's two different presses.
  20. I'll update this daily, just the once a day. High bid currently £4600 will end this time next wednesday 5th march
  21. Actually think it was on a maroon or brown Big Top label with Unsatisfied on B side, still can't see why a common chart record would be counterfeited
