  1. Why would anyone buy Jerry Ganey when they could own this? I know you'll love this Mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_KhImFTZOg
  2. I've got one in my top 20 - Carolyn Crawford "Forget About Me" If we were including Ric Tic "Please let Me In" would have been in there.
  3. I said I'd sell em but I am interested in buying them. There's no high end rarities in there. Ray Merrell would have been the rarest but looks like it's a reissue. Great as a proper UK collection though.
  4. That Studio One sleeve is superb.
  5. I didn't know there was a save option and I could copy but couldn't get anything to launch because the Mac is in overdrive copying 10,000 tracks from one place to another, by the time I was able to do it, someone else did. Which is what I wanted in the first place of course
  6. I'd like these, would someone buy them for me for my birthday please?
  7. Thanks, everyone
  8. There's been an awful lot sold since then though.
  9. How would I twist those pictures round so they face the right way, anyone?
  10. As far as behaviour goes, Discogs is paradise compared to Ebay. I've done 600 no hassle transactions now, have nearly 300 positive feedbacks and nobody has tried to claim they never received their records or try to get a discount off for "misgrading"
  11. Yeah I think I've dealt with him, I definitely know the name.
  12. Is there no way you could have scratched it when opening it, if it's a straight line scratch across the record, I've done it myself on occasion
  13. Brav thanks for a truly great post, close the old eyes and it could be Curtis singing lead
  14. I know the name, not sure why. Doesn't look as if you can search by seller on Discogs though, which is a bit odd.
  15. You should still have sent it recorded though Sean, even if it leaves you out of pocket, because if not, it's a recipe for disaster. Thanks for the warning about the seller though. At least you can leave him negative feedback. Anyway what are you doing paying £30 for a UK Montclairs
  16. I think there was an article about it in one of the Togetherness magazines. If I've still got it, I'll send you the magazine.
  17. Shall have to look out for that, he's a really good, underrated singer
  18. I've only seen two since I sold that first one. I told people to look out for Dave Barker - She Want It, but forgot that came out on two labels, so if anyone bought an Escort copy with the wrong B side because of me, I'm sorry LOL
  19. One that I can confidently say I discovered. Had it covered for ages before I told anyone what it was. Can't remember what it was covered as though. (I reviewed it in Beatin Rhythm issue 14, Autumn 1994 - covered as Sonya Kay & The Ebonies).
  20. 40 or 50 in that nick - hard to sell at full price even
  21. Not really, they're both bloody brilliant records!
  22. No it is funny, I was standing next to Mick on Saturday when Dave told him he didn't sell him the copy. Priceless.

  24. It's a good question, who'd pay that, who did pay that? The alternative version on the test press barely makes that price. £200, £250 tops in the real world.
