  1. Sadly I can't add anything to the conversation I'm afraid.
  2. I must have missed this topic and I'd be interested in it!
  3. Yeah I was selling Job Opening the other day, not this Crowd one.
  4. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You do know I'm talking about a different Del Larks record, right?
  5. He was feeling his arse at the time (for anyone who didn't see who the unknown man was, it was Dave Lee Travis)
  6. It's still sh*t.
  7. John Manship didn't auction it Dave, it was John Tefteller over in the USA.
  8. Do you mean the one I sold? Well the one on Ebay went for about 6.5K, this one went for less than that but the one I had is possibly the best copy ever to go on sale so someone missed out - anyway the 2nd bidder from the first auction did offer what he bid on the other auction, but it wasn't a set sale, it was an auction, and I wanted to do it out in the open so he decided to bid lower and then increase it if anyone outbid him.
  9. Why, does it sound different to the pink label one?
  10. No, it's all three of those
  11. Do I have to LOL
  12. Hold Back Tonight
  13. They probably thought Job Opening was on the other side.
  14. It took me straight to his website!
  15. Mostly, but Christine Cooper was a Mecca tune already bootlegged in 1975. Rita & T's, 1979.

  17. I don't collect records anymore, I just buy and sell them, can't afford to keep them..
  18. Make sure there aren't two original pressings first though! I'll try and find out.
  19. So many of these are sold as originals, because very few people knew it had been counterfeited. Even for the fake one, 25 is an absolute bargain.
  20. I don't like Ben Zine, it's rubbish, where did you pull that one up from???...I like all the records you mention but I also like Lou Pride, Eddie Parker, Bernie Williams, Tomangoes, George Blackwell, Pointer Sisters, Tommy Bush, Garnet Mimms, Dean Courtney, Billy Woods, Larry Santos, Adams Apples, Paul Sindab, Pookie HUdson, Herbert Hunter, the list is endless and the argument is pointless..
  21. I really do have to disagree Ian, I do know exactly what was played throughout the years, I'd been enough and I've heard enough and learned enough, but the music through 75 to 77 was equally as good as any other time on the scene, and I would go one to one with you that period vs post 78. 78 was bad, we all know that, but before it, it was as good as anything. You'll always have the Soussan instrumentals and various tailor mades, any era.
  22. I'm still not sure how to use Facebook properly. Nice to hear from old mates out of the blue but I don't do a lot on there soul wise, though I do like Chalky's group and some of the old photo groups - but the thing I really dislike about it, is people keep signing me up to groups which I have no interest in - an invite would be nice, but not an unauthorised sign up.
  23. Hopefully not a female walking past at the same time..
  24. Thanks Dave.
