		Price For Lloyd Williams

£125. Well that's what I sold one for recently.

You know these podcasts I do? Northern ones, Ska ones etc...well I know many of you have listened to one or two. Well you may think the track list is either random or very meticulously planned out, but actually every one is done via it's BPM, so they usually start off with fast dancers and slow down as they progress.

Some Records For Sale (Originals 7")

I'd just give it up if I were you Russell. Then I would go on Facebook and post everything you've been through on this deal and make sure it's posted in every record selling group and to all your friends. I've done this before when someone stiffed me with a bootleg of The Triumphs which he swore was original. Within 2 hours he was crying for me to remove the posts. A few weeks later, he sold the record to someone else but by then it wasn't my problem.

Come On Now Which Ones The Rarest

		I think it is...

Come On Now Which Ones The Rarest

I may be wrong but I don't think there is any way Stardust could have got the rights to every single record they felt like releasing

Come On Now Which Ones The Rarest

I remain unconvinced about that one.

		Sidney Barnes Orch

Well can't play it at the moment but the credit on the sleeve is to The Flirtations. Don't think it came out on a cd either.

Kev I think it's the vocal on Record Collector not the instrumental?

		Djing

I love to hear DJ mixing, I even do it myself (cheating, obviously) but as I said, just wouldn't like to hear it done with 60's tracks

		Djing

I'm sure they are but you can't do that with the typical mid 60's archetypal Northern sound, and why would anyone want to? 70's, 80's, 90's music you can, and it works - wouldn't like to hear it done with 60's records as I like to be told what they are for a start!

Sorry but when you talk about B-Boys and beat matching...I ask again, what's that got to do with Northern Soul?
 -

		Djing

But what's that got to do with Northern Soul?
 -

		Djing

You don't need any techincal skills whatsoever to be a "Northern Soul" dj, you just have to learn how to cue in a record. The skill is putting together the right set, in the right order, for the right audience. That's it. You could DJ off an old Dansette, it wouldn't make any difference.

If it were me, I'd report him to Ebay and tell him to shove the record, who wants to deal with someone like that?

		Any Rocksteady Experts Here ?

Blue Beat was the generic term for ska, rocksteady and reggae as late as 1969 when it all started to become called Reggae, one of the music mags had a regular Blue Beat column.

		Any Rocksteady Experts Here ?

Those albums contained 45's popular over a two year period so they both include Ska and Rocksteady.

I never collected them so don't know really, one Oriole demo I had but have never been able to place is Jackie Trent - The One Who Really Loves You, really good Motown cover

100 Club 45S Collection On Manship

But you're buying in bulk so that would be way over the top. Not worth more than £1000 in my opinion.
