It's a very uplifting lyric, happy song, sounded great loud as well. Like a lot of records, I think playing it via a loud sound system helps, if you hear it one of my Wigan tapes, the clapping on the intro is magic.

Of course he wouldn't, but it really does sound like Andy Williams, uncannily so.

Sir Rah backwards is Harris. Clue?

Neil Rushton distributes them but don't think he runs the label, I thought it was run by Glen from JoeBoy and Les McCutcheon? Apologies if this information is incorrect. -

I don't think there's any mystery about the people who are behind the label. -
Just thinking that, what a miserable depressing lyric!

They're good though - great design, perfect sound quality and some good unissued tracks too. -
Almost everyone has AATS as default though, loads of people appear to not have ticked the AV forum so they just don't get to see them.

It was a huge record 75-76, then of course bootlegged and dropped - never really revived probably because very few originals around. Wonderful record.
-
It was played to death by the end of 1976...

There's a whole topic on this very question from a few months back

Yes thats on the other side of Love Is Like An Itching I think, both LP tracks
-
He did loads but maybe they were local biggies, for instance the one on the Kent lp above, never heard it anywhere except on that LP. He did stacks of soul covers, Twine Time, Land of 1000 Dances, Nothings Too Good For My Baby (included on UA Northern LP), Cool Jerk etc
-
There's a lot of them but the only one I can ever remember hearing out, and this was way way back about 1975, was Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart, which was actually booted on a 45. They're all LP tracks I think.
-
There's another version related to that one, on UK King by "Heather", think it's the same backing as H Ellis but it's been beefed up a bit.
