Applause
Well a tape I recorded in October 1976 has no clapping at the end. One I did in January 77 does have clapping. I, of course, invented clapping after a record, it was after a play of Looking For You. I am only semi-joking

Hobbit - Lord Of The Rings - Figures - Warcraft
Has anyone, on the off chance, got a child who plays this Hobbit game at Games Workshop and has now got fed up of it and has stuff they don't want? Sam's really interested in it but the kits cost an absolute fortune and I honestly can't afford it. So am trying to find some secondhand stuff instead. £18 for four little plastic figures, crazy!

U.k. Label King Demos
It's kind of a demo but because the label's no different from the issue...well the complete package has the record with the red stamped A on the centre, a proper King sleeve with the release date typed on and a reference to their distributors. There are a couple of test presses for each release.

Andantes - (Like A) Nightmare
I remember maybe 10 years ago there was an online store in the USA selling a copy, they claimed to have one copy of everything sort of thing, they had scans of it..

Hit Record Label (Jenny & Jewels Etc) Some Info
Found a compilation called The Girl Groups Of Hit Records, thought the sleeve notes were interesting.. The Hit Records label was one of countless labels trying to cash in on the success of major artists and their hits of the day, All the artists names were for the most part fictitious, even though there were a few who used their own names like Bobby Russell...most, however, used fake names. Sandy Posey used Betty York, Betty Richards, and Sandy. Bobby Russell also used Thhe Jalopy five. Ray Stevens did background vocal for Speedy Gonzolez. Dot Hester and Clara & Cleftones and Dacrons and Gleams are all 16 year old Alpha Zoe...her pic is on the cover...one of few if any others to exist for this historic label. Olso on Hit were Benny Lattimore Brown who used the name Lattimore. Sammy Moore is Sam Morre of Sam & Dave. If its a hit...it's amazing!

50 Unreleased Tracks & Acetates, Free To Download
Message for anyone into Northern, I know that's an awful lot of you, well all of you I think, I just uploaded nearly 50 unreleased tracks and acetates onto my Dropbox site for someone, but thought while they're there I may as well share them so if any of you want to share them / download them, send me your email address and I'll add you to the list of people who are allowed to download them. There's no catch, I'm just feeling generous I do think you have to have your own Dropbox account though, not certain. PM me your email address and I'll send you the invite Pete
