  1. Great site! Have a look folks.
  2. Original London 45's don't have any indication as to which is side one or side two, and don't have the word Mono on the label.
  3. Reduced the remaining items on this list from last week
  4. There's a legal reissue by outtasite which looks like a black stock copy and has Evil One on the other side, better looking than that bootleg anyway. Probably only £5 off the net.

  6. Cheers Paul. £25 it is then.
  7. The track is "My Baby Came Back", not "Send My Baby Back", Wee label, maroon colour. cheers
  8. You can get an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner from Aldi for £15. Use it to clean 45's. They don't fit completely, you have to rotate the record manually, but you can see the crap coming out of the grooves.
  9. Will Collins & Willpower - Is there anything I can do
  10. I did say thanks on Mixcloud before I deleted, in fact I called you a genius
  11. LOL I just found that as well! Full length tracks, the inst is quite good. Was doing this for a lady who contacted me and asked if I knew who it was, I then had to find the episode, download it, watch it, record the music etc etc, favours we do eh..
  12. Thanks so much Richard, I found out at the same time as I saw this, but many many thanks
  13. John, I found this clip of AP, this is the one I mentioned above
  14. It's not though is it...same title different song
  15. Sorry this is a terrible quality clip recorded on the internal microphone of the mac, thats because it's from a tv show, our old pal Inspector George Gently again, but not the "Northern Soul" episode, this is from an earlier one but it's a very Northern flavoured track. The clip as I say is very tinny and crap quality but you can easily hear the song, which appears to be called "I can't stop the feeling that I've got for you".. thanks Untitled song.mp3
  16. John, Alexander was certainly around in the 2000's, he appeared at one of the Soultrip Conventions, I think it was the Los Angeles one. If you look for a guy on here called Kev Roberts he may even be able to tell you of his whereabouts now. Kev's user name is thegolden101 I think.
  17. Honestly I've heard this rumour before and it's so disrespectful to the singer and musicians to think they'd be that unprofessional - it's obviously a note from an organ and it happens again a couple of seconds later.
  18. Look you all wanted something portraying the scene as it really is or was, and now someone who was / is involved in it is making the film, and with people like Ian above and Paul Sadot involved, this is THE big chance for all past injusticies to be put right, so come on, have a bit of faith in the people behind the film.
  19. He was first to play it though, at least give him that. As it's my favourite period, I always remember Russ's spots from 76-77 and I can honestly say, they were not far off Richard's especially for getting the night started. 78 onwards, I agree with other comments
  20. If I hadn't got one (just one), I'd have had that off you Steve...good mag that was
  21. Seriously? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Record_collecting
  22. I don't know the source so I had to buy them when they first came out for £7, Mick I think managed to get about 15 or 20 and he's sold most of them if not all, price went up to £10 then £15, this is only 4 weeks after it's press. Wish I'd kept one. But I have a Columbia test pressing* of it anyway so it doesn't really matter. * which I made myself LOL
  23. The Guardian are almost certainly doing a piece on this on Monday. Bob Stanley's writing it. Asked me if I could put him in touch with Nick.
  24. In excellent condition, really nice copy, £200 including postage (UK) I'll pay half registered post overseas
