Got a DD Philips £50 demo in EX condition (+ post) if any good to you
-
Sorry to take so long getting back, it's a black label demo (tougher than the red label demo), on vinyl, condition is excellent, couple of paper scuffs but pretty much perfect. It's £125 if yourself (or anyone else) wants it.
-
Good dancing to that version Harry
-
No, I only know it as a UK collectors record.
-
I got one. Sort a price out for you when I've given it the once over. Black label demo.

Do what you bloomin well like with em mate

Thanks for the kind words about the previous episodes, still a long way to go in this trek through my favourite oldies, but as someone said, it's like going to the best allnighter ever, so I am more that happy with that. Also happy to spark off some long forgotten memories, people saying they know most tracks but there are always a couple that they didn't know or just plain forgot. This might be the best one so far. Or it might not. See what you think. Sorry duplicate post

I think the first Australian single is Space Oddity, but Love You Till Tuesday was released in New Zealand in 67. The Pye 45's didn't come out until the 1972 reissues. For anyone who does like early Bowie, here's one I made earlier, this is brilliant, honestly...one of my favourite podcasts...every decent track he did in the 60's https://www.mixcloud.com/mayfairmenthol/early-bowie/

It's not, it's £2.34 give or take a penny

Well it's a division of jubilee industries on the label, just didn't know whether it came out or not.. -

Does anyone need a cheap runaround car? Nissan Almera, petrol. This one has been sat on our drive undriven for a few months now, Dee can't afford the insurance, it's old (V970MOK) but runs perfectly, never had any problems, always passed it's MOT, it's still under MOT (runs out in 2 weeks) and might need new brake pads otherwise it'll pass. 58,152 mileage. Not taxed. Just want it out the way to be honest so looking at £250...

Better get my arse in gear and load up volume 4 then eh? -
It's got great unexpected chord changes as well though, takes it to another level.
-
C-Jam Blues is also impossible to sell, I only got £25 for my issue. I remember Mick buying an LP or 10" acetate of theirs featuring 4 unissued tracks from Brighton record fair, long ago, must have sold it on ebay.

Fantastic Northern Soul record.
-
The trouble is, nobody knows who's got what at any given time. Records come and go very quickly, well they do with me, the faster I sell it, the better. I'll have 3 records for sale next week which will make a lot of people foam at the mouth (one from L.A. two from Detroit) but I could sell them privately and no one will know I had them. People rely too much on Popsike and Ebay and whether JM's had a copy. You're just going to have to take my word for it. Like, say, Ritchie Adams Congress red issue - who's got one? I know I sold one to Nige Brown, but nobody else even saw me with it. I have absolutely no reason to fib about whether I've had a record or not. I was only saying today, I've never even seen a copy of Sammy Lee despite liking it for 37 years. Never had a Lou Pride. Loads I've never had.

Me too Dave, that's why there are so many from that period 1974 to 1978, those were my peak years so to speak and we'd have been at the Casino when many of those were spun for the first time, which is why they carry such precious memories. (Sorry, 76 to 78 for me, 74 and 75 were youth club years) -
I had mine for years as a play out copy, I also got my mate John's when he sold up, and I had one when I was in Hastings so that's three I've had. Two Carol & Gerri's. One Dean Courtney. Two Charades. Bear in mind in the years 1998 to 2001, every man and his dog was selling me records. One that stands out that I never saw again was Don Ray on black RCA. I used to do a list of 50 proper rare items, every single week. As I've said before many times, the only one that I know I'll never see again is the Dean Courtney issue. Sorry, I didn't answer your question. First one I got about 1999 and kept for years, sold when I packed in djing mid 2000's, second would have been 2001, third (my mates copy) I sold in 2009.
