Incredibles - Nothing Left To Say Audio Arts Wdj
Pete S replied to Ian Seaman's topic in Look At Your Box
Right I've played it and the first 20 seconds are crackly so I'd rate it no better than vg despite the rest of it playing fine. Whatever the mint value is, I'll sell it at half that price. -

Pete S replied to Ian Seaman's topic in Look At Your Box
OK Steve no worries. It'll be £60 I think. Depends how it plays, not played it yet. Four or five people know I've got it though, they've seen a list, so have a think if you definitely want it cos I'll sell anything to anyone -

"No Time" soundclip now working

I am looking for offers on a super-rare original of JOHN & THE WIERDEST - CAN'T GET OVER THESE MEMORIES / NO TIME - TIE 101. One of the greatest double siders ever. Okay let me explain the condition in details. It's a record which looks like it never saw a sleeve in it's life therefore it's covered in hundreds of little marks - not scratches - but marks that make both sides crackle on the quiet intros. Once it kicks in, the sound quality is absolutely fine. Visually G+ to VG.I intended to put sound clips of both sides up but every time I record No Time, the record plays perfectly but the recording keeps skipping so I'm working on that. There should be a full sound clip of Can't Get Over These Memories below. I'll consider offers over £1000 for this one, but I'm not sure how long I'm going to run it for just yet. Probably a week. One of the few copies of this to ever come up for sale.

Tommy Bush - I Don't Like It - Rika Bootleg
Pete S replied to Stoopdownbaby's topic in All About the SOUL
No it's a fault on the master. There were lots of these around before it started to become popular, the purple Rika ones are all originals. I'll try and find the recording so you can hear it. -

Pete S replied to Stoopdownbaby's topic in All About the SOUL
I remember a period in 1977 where I bought 3 copies of that in 6 weeks at Wigan, it was always £8 for some reason. Every copy had the weird noise at the start. I played one on saturday and that had it as well. DJ Honky did a cd a few years back of his dj set and he played this, you can hear it on his copy too. -
No idea Robb, I think she was just interested in his story, not a writer as far as I know
