No mate I think I sold it to Soul Searcher on here, he might still have it -
Am afraid you are being a bit soft - once they've bought it, they can do what they like with it. I sold one on here to someone who told me straight out he would be listing it in a weeks time for at least £200 more than he bought it off me for. And he did. MY fault for selling it too cheap!

Thanks to BT and my useless broadband, this took 7 hours to upload, every time it got near complete, someone phoned and it cut the internet off. Nightmare. Anyway, I hope it was worth it, this series has gone down a storm so far and this episode should carry on where the last one left off, the highest quality Northern Soul from the last 40 or so years worth of spins. If I can get it to upload, I'll do part 8 today if I can. If you are interested in buying original Northern Soul 45's, please send me a message. Ted, there is no AS stamp as far as I can see, it might read ZS but it's so feint it's very hard to make out. I think it is ZS, in a circle. The stamp on the bootleg is in a completely different place to this. The main giveaway of the bootleg is that if you hold it to the light you can see through it. You can also hear the record being recorded onto fresh vinyl on the bootleg. Also the fact they look new and this one looks 50 years old. Anyone with any knowledge of records could look at that scan and see that it's an original.

David Katz’S Collection Of The 20 Best Reggae 7″s Ever Made
Pete S replied to Derek Pearson's topic in Look At Your Box
Seems to be what he's done is list what he thinks is the most important record from each phase of Jamaican music, so there's an R & B, proto Ska, Ska, rocksteady, early reggae and so on, so I guess it's a list of records which were important in the musical development. Doesn't mean that there are better alternatives to all of them (except Pablo) though. -

Maybe 3 of those are half decent... -
I don't remember Ruperts then, not brightly coloured ones anyway, just these...

Sorry Ady I was thinking more along the lines of if someone did it round here, you could name the DJ's before it's even been announced.
