  1. That is the original UK label Dave. Original Jamaican label is Gay Feet. B side (In the UK) of Dave Barker - She Want It
  2. Just diversifying a sec, I put several artists in touch with Bob A, and I know at least one went to go on to record again due to that contact, but the only person who ever got back in touch after the show - not that I care - was Ray & Dave, well one of them anyway, the other was dead but I forget which one, anyway he was a Reverend and was totally amazed anyone knew his record and he was so chuffed to go on the radio show to talk about his career.
  3. Well apparently I didn't, so I read, so I obviously didn't...
  4. Yeah so I read. In Chicago when they made the record though.
  5. Who packs master plates so badly that they can be damaged. Why do a tiny press in St Louis on a Chicago label, then come back to Chicago and do a "2nd" press using damaged masters. Surely common sense would tell you the original would be released in Chicago seeing as the label and the band were based there at the time. "Oh hang on, let's fly down to St Louis for no reason, press 100 copies, then come back, change the design and issue 5,000 copies in Chicago".
  6. So they do a pressing, then replace that with a damaged master plate to do a second run?
  7. Silver Mojo replaced the black paper one, around the time of Timmy Thomas 'Why can't we live together' and Joe Simon 'Step by step' then they must have just closed the label and it went directly to Polydor
  8. Easy £300 Dave - super rare demo
  9. It's like a satchel we used to use for school. But holds 12" records.
  10. Sainsbury's bag for life - 5p
  11. It is - so the next time they ask, I just say it's already sold...and the next time etc
  12. That is the most annoying thing about selling records. It happens to me every single week. It's happened today in fact. But again, the deal never took place so I don't see how feedback can be placed. You just have to deal with it your own way.
  13. The "Once thought to be" far commoner 2nd run
  14. Because you leave feedback for a transaction, not for someone's manners
  15. Please...someone pass the sick bucket....
  16. Yeah that's going to happen.
  17. You can't leave someone negative feedback for not answering a PM. That's ridiculous. You leave feedback based on a transaction that's taken place.
  18. Whoever it is has a phD in talking b*llocks it's a deeper shade of green oh wow and the "2nd pressing" is just so common....
  19. No I mean if you want to buy it off me, it's £10. I wouldn't sell any of them for more than £10. I have a Jerry Williams on OOTP here that I couldn't even get a fiver for recently so nutcases on eBay have no bearing on what I sell for.
  20. Sent long winded reply :-)
