  1. I like Joanie Mitchell not as a soul singer, just as a singer. Just mentioning it like... yeah I know I'm a
  2. There's an early version of one label, it might be "IN", where it's actually hand drawn!
  3. I'll see if I can find a copy
  4. What about the actual jukebox though - have you seen it - it's fantastic! I'd pay an awful lot of money for one of those, if any still exist.
  5. I love on the Gloria & t_Airas label it says "psychedelic soul"!
  6. I forgot Al Green. Anyone see that Apollo special where he does Lets Stay Together and jumps into the audience and they're all trying to touch him as if he's the Messiah? And Bobby Bland. What a great singer. And that guy with the deep voice of of Soul Bros Inc. By the way could anyone have a look at my Ron Atkinson post in the freebase section as I thought it was hilarious but it's wasted over in that section
  7. This record which I had on my list today PRIMBROCK SKIGGS - THAT WAS YESTERDAY - PZAZZ M- 50 I should have know something was up when I got 5 calls in the first 10 minutes, anyway of course I let it go to the first person who asked for £50...then everyone's saying oh it's £100, it's £150....well I've got another copy so if anyone wants it they can make me an offer, cash or trade, I promise it's the only other copy, there's no boxful anywhere. Meanwhile if someone could tell me what the big deal is I'd be grateful. cheers pete

  12. A good point, well made
  13. Oh come on Mikey, it's a fabulous Northern record from the Cats and beyond...pounding! As for your Gail Anderson...I don't know...double the issue price I'd guess, I've never seen it either
  14. I've never even seen a copy of this before and I am going to put it on my list today but have no idea what to ask. Granted it's easy on issue, but a white demo? I'd rate this as one of the hardest records I've ever had...anyone got any ideas, Mick Smith said £75 when I mentioned it, I'm thinking double that!
  15. You ouhgt to get some of my dvd's Kolla - top quality stuff
  16. No it's a new movie mate, those others are now out in a box set for about £60
  17. I'll take that as a no then, miserable buggers
  18. Only released in the cinemas in the States yesterday, just got a copy if anyone fancies seeing it, or shall I watch it first then do a Barry Norman? Lightning in a bottle
  19. I had a copy of Wrapped Tied And Tangled with the B side label both sides, listed it for £25, got about 15 calls on it!
  20. Co-wrote
  21. Soulsville and Bladeforlife model the latest Yorkshire look
  22. THE VOLCANOS - IT'S AGAINST THE LAWS OF LOVE BIG ALL NITER SOUND PLAYED BY RICHARD SEARLING/PAT BRADY ALL THE BIG JOCKS ETC OVER THE YEARS VOLCANOS EPITOMISES THE GIRL GROUP SOUND THE LAWS OF LOVE ON US ARCTIC RECORDS......RE ISSUE... Link
  23. Jimmy Robbins is listed as R&B in Manship but I thought it was a 70's record, pink label? RB Hudman was played as was Billy Joe Royals version though I don't think anyone ever played Cilla Blacks' version (LP track)
  24. Gary, please believe me, this is THE most tolerant site on the net, people here really behave themselves, even I behave myself - you really have to experience the goings on elsewhere...the reply to your question was born out of the frustration of the subject being done to death for over 3 years now and I know Brett only meant it as a joke. Don't go eh?
