  1. I didn't think it was them because I thought it was a MALE group so don't include me in your stupid buggers (please) :graynone:
  2. 125 - 150 for a mint one. Just booted for a tenner.
  3. Anyone remember this record, very uptempo dancer - The Memphis Nomads - Don't Pass Your Judgement - Stax 243. Remember getting it on a tape in the late 80's never seen one for sale, just wondered if anyone knew the value. Curious thing about it, under the Stax logo it says "Distributed by the Memphgis and Shelby County Chapter of the March of Dimes" so was wondering if it was some kind of limited charity record?? Belting dancer though.
  4. The Utopias - but surely not the Detroit ones

  6. Whats that supposed to mean? This from a bloke who has sold me cracked and hissing records over the phone without even telling me
  7. Spot on mate.
  8. Definitely. Thats like 'rave speak'
  9. Absolutely hilarious that, and something I wish I could have done in the past! Brilliant...
  10. :graynone:
  11. Also people who use the phrase B-B-Q
  12. I just like argueing with people
  13. Ronnie Love Any good???
  14. I wish I could get some of those customers! I don't know, maybe people are coming along who just don't have the knowledge and don't care what they pay for records. I'm toying with listing records with my prices and then next to them, 'book' prices in brackets, because if everyone follows these new book prices, it's the beginning of the end.
  15. You can try and get £40 mate but I bet you won't...you might on UK but it's common on US. And before Mick Smith says anything to the contrary...I discovered this record
  16. US issue £25 demo £20 UK issue £30 no demos
  17. Those auctions don't have a fixed end time either - every time a bid goes on, the end time is extended
  18. Yes there is - find the number that follows the triangle symbol in the run off, if it's original it will be around the range of 55555 or similar, if it's reissue it will be either 90000 or over or 100000 or over. Hope that makes sense.
  19. I sold my last Chuck Jackson for £50 and really struggled to get that for it, I can sell anyone an issue of Bobby Sheen right now for £80, do these people think they are being clever by paying 4 times the going rate or something?
  20. It's got to be a misprint, I sold it for £100 3 weeks ago, mint, but he rates the issue at £200, I mean, I've never seen it on a list over £80 - if I had one now it would be £75 tops.
  21. Sorry mate, I'm off now anyway, go and force myself to watch 2nd half of the footie..
