  1. Well they're claiming it'll pack the floors at Northern nights...
  2. That has to be a fiddle. Nobody would pay more than £40 for that on an issue.
  3. I like a lot of that stuff and it fits in there perfectly but you wouldn't play it as Northern...I don't mean you, I mean I - would you? I?
  4. Check this out at exactly 17 seconds in
  5. Dunno - I think there's a two year gap between Hullabaloo and Call Me Baby - and I think one was recorded in Chicago, one in Philly and one in New York!
  6. Yeah it's definitely her. I love that song, Hullabaloo, I have it on the quite scarce Coral issue, they've recorded right over The Matador backing track and you can clearly hear Major Lance and/or Billy Butler, some recognisable voices anyway.
  7. I never went there, didn't even know about it, but there was a shop in Stafford street I used to go in late 70's which moved to opposite the Express & Star building, think it was called Time Machine records.
  8. Maybe but Please Don't Go is a beautiful track as well. Shame about the low fi sound quality on both sides.
  9. I think he went solo on that one..
  10. Thats why I said Mandrill
  11. Graduate Records in Wolverhampton was at the top of Broad Street next to the big Blunts shoe shop. It briefly became Sundown Records, then Sundown moved 100 yards away on the corner of Lichfield Street and was there until maybe 1980.
  12. Wasn't this an Eddie Singleton production....bit late to ask him now though. I bet Lada Edmund Jr isn't even the vocalist anyway. She was a dancer.
  13. Might be Mandrill - Never Die
  14. If you're just asking that question, then I don't believe it's for real
  15. Sounds like someone knocked it up in 10 minutes. Cut up and messed about with Track To Your Mind and got someone in to sing a new lyric.
  16. It's a bad psych record, what the hell was that insert at the start about?
  17. Master of the understatement Sir
  18. Salvadors is a truly rare record though and you could name any price - James Bounty isn't a rare record.
  19. Wide awake and have had 4 cups today but James Bounty will never be more than £150

  21. As I said, I sold James Bounty on my list for £150 a few weeks ago and I thought that was high, I'd have usually sold it for £125 but it was mint. If anyone listed a James Bounty on here, on a list, on Ebay for £400, it would still be here next year. It will never, ever, be worth £400 or sell for £400 again. I'm just about to list a Taj Mahal demo for £300, Tamiko Jones demo £400, Terri Bryant demo £250 and Zu Zu Blues Band for £500, fingers crossed I'll sell them all if not I'll reduce them to £40, £125, £75 and £200.
  22. One put on here immediately after auction ended at 50% of auction price and not sold
  23. Someone just added loads of new buy it now's to ebay UK, really good Northern originals, but he's said that he has priced these according to the price guide so knows not to accept any silly offers - therefore his starting price is just way over the top - Landslide white demo starting at £1000 for instance.
