  1. I'M NOT BUILT THAT WAY (INST) HESITATIONS BAND - KAPP STUDIO I made one of these on the computer using a karaoke porogram - also an instrumental of That's When I Need You (F Butler)

  4. Sells a record on Ebay via Buy It Now Doesn't realise anyone won it until I tell him Attempts to charge £2.50 for postage within the Uk and when asked why says - and this is the best I've ever heard - I HAVE TO PAY MY MATE £1 TO POST THE RECORD FOR ME Six days later I still haven't got the record Answers on a deep funk 45 to me c/o Soul Source
  5. The problem is why he has to mention me in his post when I haven't got a clue who he is, that's what...
  6. So I am sat here minding my own business, reading the posts, I come across this one which seems like jibberish in the main except it mentions me in the middle, so am I not allowed to enquire why MY name turns up in the middle of some post about 'pittances'?? F*cks sake.
  7. Did I mention that the actual records turned up? And they were utter shite? I think I'll send them back and keep the dressing gown and slippers!
  8. Here's a list of some of this guy's recent sales - some poor soul bought a pressing of Mr Soul for over $100....his Jimmy Radcliffe boot went for $100 to the guy from Nottingham who can't spell too good - the seller also lives in Nottingham (click below) bootlegs r us
  9. I got the same reply, except he accused me of trying to get it off him cheap by saying it was a boot! So I told him to shove it, except by then he'd blocked my email!
  10. No the first pressings are actually black, same as the originals but instead of having the pink blue and red stripes they are all shades of grey...then there's a white one then this blue one
  11. I told him, took no notice, anyone else? Very Dodgy Pressing
  12. This Perfect Day?? Whole Wide World is by Wreckless Eric. I can mp3 you any of this sort of thing, shows how sad I am, I sold my northern and kept all that stuff!
  13. If you haven't got it you would probably enjoy Don Lett's "Punk Rock Movie" Ady...great footage of Slaughter & The Dogs on there, their gimmick appears to be to cover themselves in talc! Plus the usual suspects. Also there are a couple of German documentaries, Punk In London and - I forget the other but I've got it - one of these has The Killjoys on it, lead singer Kevin Rowland.
  14. I'll take anything on the following labels in any condition, writing on label, no centre is not a problem, only thing is, I don't need anything that charted in the Uk and I don't need anything after 1970, thanks. If you've got anything lying around, even if it's only one item, let me know. I will always trade for Northern if you prefer that to cash. 15. Whoah! I never stopped and have never stopped 'supporting northern soul' - I just like other sorts of music and have always gone to see bands - I'd much rather have watched a punk band than a soul act anyday

  17. Fair enough. Apart from the fact that Nirvana almost singlehandedly resurrected rock music from certain death. Anyway sod this, to each his own, I still say think the Mondays had nothing to offer whatsoever and the Roses had one side of an album, Inspirals had 2 good singles. And New Order were terrible after 1984.
  18. Oh come on. Saying The Mondays were better than Nirvana is like saying Tom Jones is a better soul singer than Levi Stubbs. Once again; they had no talent; they had no songs; they could barely play their instruments; their singer couldn't sing. And before anyone says 'sounds like the Sex Pistols'...they had everything and paved the way for the talentless oafs and overrated druggies from Madchester. :graywanker: :graywanker: :graywanker: no offence like
  19. I saw James in 1984 supporting The Smiths. They were just another guitar band with one good song (hmyn from a village), after that it was all downhill
  20. So am I but it don't mean I ought to be worshipped for having no talent
  21. Poor answer. Real answer is 'none of them' because they either covered someone else's songs or wrote jibberish. Worst group EVER.
  22. Would you like to name a Mondays song that stands up to any Nirvana song?
  23. Because they are the most untalented, useless bunch of c*nts ever to make a record??

    Mark Loyd

Yeah it did - from R & T wasn't it? 1990? Nobody was interested in it then, I sold it for £50 I think and thought that was a good deal at the time. Lovely black issue Gene eh? I got 2 more out of Record Collector and a demo off Ebay which nobody else saw
