  1. This post has made me so angry I am going to shave all my hair off
  2. Oh Brenda!
  3. If you believe your opinion is the right one then why shouldn't you be allowed to fight your corner without some do gooder saying 'break it up children'...
  4. Sounds like a new Third Reich to me maybe thats too heavy, I apologise still sounds like a load of old bollocks to me patronisng to the nth degree and only of interest to the 20 anoraks who actually take themselves seriously enough to actually come up with something like that
  5. Quote: · The first U.K. or foreign label release if contemporaneous with the U.S. release, e.g. The British Soul City release of Gene Chandler's "Nothing Can Stop Me" would qualify but not the British Soul City release of Jack Montgomery's "Dearly Beloved". If you're going to create a manifesto you should get your facts right. Gene Chandler on Soul City is a reissue, it came out after the original release on Stateside so according to your rules, it cannot be played. I rest my case.
  6. No problem mate
  7. What a load of fucking bollocks
  8. Good point actually - you only have to listen to the Uk releases of Chapter Five, The Capitals and Gerri Hall - they all sound very compressed and dull
  9. I know you're impressed really
  10. Not only do I remember it but I actually got a letter printed in the NME! Someone slagged it off saying it was dull music by Northern vikings or some such shite, I replied and said basically that much NS is as soulful as the people he'd quoted (can't remember who) and obviously I won the argument ... claim to fame there!
  11. Got a couple in that quality if you want some more..def not off the cd
  12. Did it have that bit at the start on the cd?? Never got round to getting the soundtrack
  13. Reason I said do they sound different is because I don't give a toss what the format is though I'm not keen on cd, though I guess if I was 20 years younger I would probably feel the same as you
  14. Oh yes please!!!!
  15. hey that's my line
  16. Not so much the track but the little bit of studio chat at the start...magical
  17. Why, do they sound different???
  18. They are on Ebay at £8 buy it now!
  19. Someone is playing silly buggers with PM's...somebody has sent messages purporting to be from myself and Mick Smith to sellers of records. We know nothing about this and would ask if you can check the pm's to see who actually did it, though I've a good idea. thanks Pete
  20. Yeah it is Joe, it's called M.P.G. Great track which used to be played by Russ at Wigan. I'm going to revive it if no-one else has already
  21. Could anyone possibly send me an mp3 of Marvin gaye - It's a bitter pill to have to swallow? It's an lp track off the album MPG. Much apprciated cheers pete
  22. It was a budget price release which whittled out all the chaff from the two previous volumes, or what, are you saying that every note that came out on Shrine was genius?
  23. The Grapevine lp's are brilliant - all of them, especially the second...absolute top quality. But no sleeve notes, maybe thats why
