  1. No they aren't, they're modern oldies
  2. I think there's about 4 versions. The original one is easily the best (the one they called The Detroit Prophets but it is very slightly speeded up I think).
  3. I used to do the prices for the record collector guide for the first few issues. I packed it in after they took so long to pay up for the work done. Ever since, it's been crap
  4. I'd have to disagree with the above - all of that series (Cascade's "the unknown"s - they did rockabilly, all sorts of things) stayed on catalogue for years and years. There were literally hundreds in Bexhill when that distribution company there cleared out all of their vinyl. They certainly stayed on catalogue longer than most of the Kent lp's.
  5. B*ll*cks
  6. Sounds real enough to me...
  7. God yes. OK just to stop you keep asking me about this, some 70's tunes I liked/like east coast connection willie j & co anderson brothers diane jenkins stanley woodruff mel britt creative source skullsnaps life the nights ikettes (2 timin double dealin) liberty eloise laws towanada & total destruction bobby hutton will collins johnny williams that sort of thing - 4/4 beat, danceable...
  8. Makes no difference, it's just a very average record. Hey I like Cleethorpes type 70's oldies, the ones that were uptempo dancers, I just don't like modern.
  9. Hey Mr Comedy, I don't try to come up with any critical analysis, all modern soul is shite and I don't need to say anymore. It's all useless. I can't even classify it as music.
  10. On the label it says Baby I Don't Need Your Love but it should have been baby I Don't Want To Lose Your Love. I have an interesting fact about this release, right next to it or a couple of numbers away is a vocal version of Paradox - Ring the changes.
  11. You can add at least £150 to that price
  12. Been a couple of years since I had one. Title is wrong on the label by the way. This got played back in 78 when Minshull was spinning all the UK things, never really did anything, I always thought it was a brilliant record.
  13. It is the same group as was on Chipping Norton. The RCA single was from 1968, one of the last black label releases, but they'd been on Pye before that and were notable for being the only black Merseybeat group.
  14. Don't flatter yourself, after seeing your performance on here and on Ebay I think we did well to steer clear
  15. Yes. Yes it is. :graynone:
  16. I already hate it!
  17. I'm probably wrong but I thought Demon was an 80's label. Actually it is an 80's label. I am right.
  18. Had both and can't say as I noticed. I only clicked on this because I thought it said "Carol Burnette"
  19. You really think I thought he was being racist?
  20. I forgot to put a smiley on there, sorry. Good to see you jumping in yet again though
  21. Seems to have changed now Craig; options are mic cd player tv tuner aux line in stereo mix mono mix phone line as yet I haven't got any to work! cheers anyway
  22. WHAT ARE THE SETTINGS CRAIG, i MEAN WHAT DO YOU SELECT AS THE SOURCE ETC?
