  8. Demo of Judy Street on Grapevine for £100 buy it now Ebay lost the link though
  9. Why, are they scared to agree in public?
  10. I don't want to hear dj's giving us their life story, I just want to know the artist and title of the record, not too much to ask is it?
  11. That link takes me to my own ebay page
  12. Mine isn't a "list", it was the first records I could think of off the top of my head, the first ones that came to mind. They don't represent anything apart from they are records that I think are classics.
  13. Sent PM at 9.15 hope you got it ok
  14. I think issue £50 demo £75 but agree with the second part of the statement. Nobody on this site is daft enough to pay over a ton.
  15. Sort of agree but people do need to know what the records are
  16. He added it onto this one
  17. I don't have anything left, sorry..
  18. Thread on this one elsewhere by Carl Dixon who I think actually produced it!
  19. There's a record that got a few spins in 77 called Where Do I Go by The Beas, came out on UK Pama, A side of that is also a version of Dr Goldfoot And The Bikini Machine.
  20. Yeah I would too if I had the motivation Russ. You would never have found anyone more anti-oldies than me in the Wigan days, I hated M's, I hated Evisons oldies spot, and the Friday night oldies ruined many a decent saturday. It was a) the introduction of more 70's records and b) love, that eventually stopped me going!
  21. That's good, but not exceptional though. Same as an awful lot of unissued cuts - they're not as good as, or are inferior to records already released on those artists, the RCA things in particular - Today Is My Day is good, but not a patch on I'll Always Need You. And I know I'm to get some right stick for this but in a lot of cases, the sound quality is simply too good to the point that the sound can become a bit sterile. I'm not asking it to be inaudible mono, just not CD quality stereo.
  22. Don't know if I'm included in that above but there are hundreds and hundreds of great records discovered since the 70's, I am not stuck in a Wigan time warp as my collection, DJ spots (when I did them) sales and podcasts prove. I would not enjoy a night of Tempos and Younghearts, I'd need to hear really good newies as well. I just like the newies to be of the 'old school' type sound thats all.
  23. Not at the moment, but if there was one, then maybe people might go?
  24. It's definitely Linda Griner. Can't tell you much else. I knew about the UK issue but don't remember having it.
