  1. Yeah I've had some good feedback about the pie
  2. That Fuller Brothers is a reissue from 1976 or 77. The original has an olive coloured label and a hexagonal clock...
  3. You pleased my front as well
  4. Hello Gary
  5. Is that Colne in Lancs or Koln in Germany I dunno I'm not a big r&b fan but that record blew my mind when I first heard it and I've had it about 12 years now and only just dug it out again...would definitely listen to more stuff like this
  6. Yeah I think Wulfie is djing next time Del so will you be coming along?
  7. Basically I was lying in bed monday morning, it was about 7.30 and Mindy the weimararner (see pic below) decided it was time for her to get in bed with me, as she does every morning (don't ask why, she's done it since I got her) anyway she goes to get in and at the same time, Bosko the boxer (see pic below) decided that he was also going to get in, and out of the blue, Mindy attacked Bosko (see pic below) and I somehow got caught up in the middle and Mindy bit my arm by accident. I know have to wear a special suit (see pic below)
  8. Yes definitely a washboard. Hey could I have started a new genre here - Northern Electronic Skiffle Blues
  9. They do some good stuff at that shop
  10. Don't know, haven't read anything that's been said about me or whatever since I left and really don't know whats gone on so probably best to not go and look at any of the topics and instead start afresh eh? Dog bit me on monday by the way
  11. Sorry!
  12. Hello!
  13. Thanks mate, I thought it was pretty awesome too. Really powerful stuff. Not sure if I would go as far as to play it anywhere other than my room though..
  14. You know a lot about pork pies on this site, definitely. That is not actually a real pork pie, like Gash says, it's a bootleg. It's an accessory for a dolls house. Honest.
  15. That was JB Hutto & The Hawks from the early 50's, of course I wouldn't play anything like that, I just thought it was one of the most fantastic records I ever heard thats all..
  16. Anyone care to dance? Play this enclosed file, you won't be able to keep still
  17. Hello!
  18. Hello! (Decided not to say anything except hello)
  19. Er...hello!
  20. Yes I've been to Wales today actually, to Llanfair, Carno and Berriew. What a pleasant day out it was too.
  21. Whooosh!
  22. Well for a start, Epic in the UK had nothing to do with Columbia UK. Columbia was an EMI label and Epic was owned by CBS, though in the 60's a few Epic recordings did come out on UK Columbia which is a bit confusing. But the Sandi Sheldon was full blown UK release to tie in with I think the second volume of the Okeh compilation LP and therefore shouldn't be worth any more than £15 on a promo and £10 on an issue. I sell it for £10.
  23. Is it "I'm gonna need your love" by 'Harlod' Melvin by any chance???
  24. Yes that will cause a stampede to the dancefloor! Good singer but 10th rate B side material, uninspiring and boring, as befitting those people who like it
  25. Voltaire Pier on UK Decca - been known for 20 years, wonder why they covered it up?
