  1. Just a thought. Studio One is down a cul de sac and there are only a few residential buildings, but I suppose they are free to object if there is noise at 2am in the morning, cars etc...having said that, it's off a major road and I would have thought the traffic noise goes on most of the night. So it might be a legitimate complaint from residents. Such a shame though, I was really enjoying djing there.
  2. Theres a site on the web where you can contact the people who do the bookers...try typing in Book Little Anthony or sommat
  3. Oh the irony...someone just emailed me and asked me why I played a 70's track on the radio show (Life - Tell me why) cos it's one of my favourites thats why!
  4. Whoever did this cd is a con-man it says 25 unreleased Motown dancers!!

  7. Who does that other version of Don't Send No One Else? Think it might be a Motown group.
  8. Of course he wasn't, he sees it's me so he has to have a pop
  9. It's still broadcasting now...thought I might as well keep it running while people are still listening ...added another 30 or so northern tracks
  10. Like I care what you listen to
  11. Oh get lost you boring old git
  12. Er...no...I couldn't give a toss about 70's or whatever...you are free to like whatever you like and vice versa. I'm just winding you up and you're the only one on the board who doesn't realise. Well done!
  13. No you're not...you're destroying a once great scene with your disco music
  14. Like I give a toss what anyone thinks - I know I've got better musical taste than you so why argue about it? I hate smug people who think justbecause they like 70's records they think they are a cut above anyone who doesn't like it.
  15. They're all sh*t and life would be much better if they didn't exist
  16. Hey, had 14 listeners so far, that is fantastic (honest), going to repeat this show at 10pm tonight ok.. p.s. It didn't quite make 90 minutes so I put on about 8 unreleased tracks, at least 2 of which I've never sent up to SS
  17. At 3 o clock today - Something for everyone here: Little Johnny Hamilton, The Uniques, The Skatalites, Monique, Prince Buster, Diane Lewis, Alton Ellis, Bobby Mac and so on...almost 90 minutes worth of the best in Northern Soul and 60's Jamaican Music... how to listen.. go to https://pirateradionetwork.com/ scroll down until you come to MUSIC go down to ALTERNATIVE and click on SKA A GO GO if you click on the name you can download the player and listen in excellent quality. If you click WEBSTREAM you can still listen but the quality is not as good. Problems listening? Please don't ask me, it's taken me a week to get it running this smoothly...there is a FAQ on the website though. cheers pete
  18. That was the first time it appeared on cd.
  19. No, you're unbelievable. A raft.
  20. It's worth no more than £40, common as hell.
  21. Mike says above "every member can comment, reply, pass views on any members post" which they can, but by the same token, it had been agreed that the freebasing room was exactly that, so whether members consider it in bad taste or not, you are free to say that but so is the person who put it up in the first place. I have never seen a place were so many over-sensitive souls congregate than in the freebasing room of soul source. The Masqueraders joke is hardly bad taste.
  22. Golden Gate have this record in quantity...I bought 4 off them $60 each.
  23. Baz - Exus Trek is the instrumental and flip side of Luther Ingram IIATSTYB
  24. Er, a record shop. I mean, the only record shop in the town. It was well documented, especially when someone told the shop owner what I'd found and how much I'd sold it for.
  25. Can't believe nobody bought Sebastian Williams - great record, very reasonable price - I would, if I wasn't broke
