  7. You aren't alone...
  8. iS IT MY EYES OR DOES THIS SAY WHAT i THINK IT DOES???
  9. Not sure why you removed Hasse's name, he is a rocksteady and ska collector, I never even knew he had any soul records, I once sold him the rare Phil Pratt record on Caltone for a then astronimcal sum of £120...
  10. Guys, I thank you for your help and I do know what you are talking about, and I have done this before; but it's like fractions - if someone gave me afraction sum to do I would end up in tears of frustration because I would not know how to do it, despite having been shown numerous times since I was about 10 years old. It's one of those situations where it's simple but you just can't get it. At one point I was even adding music to the site, but not any more...sad isn't it
  11. --> QUOTE(mark.b @ Jan 26 2006, 06:16 PM) link hi pete carl used to play it at the greatstone and ginger even covered it up, i love it sounds like a poor mans elvis. mark I sold it to Carl mate, but I first heard it when Ginger played it on Richards radio show
  12. Did you? How much?? I knew I'd had it twice!
  13. I had a pressing of this last year and when I advertised it I said it was the first one I'd seen since 1977! And it was. I stuck £30 on it. It was identical to the one that sold today.
  14. Do you mean on a black Challenge? According to my US discog, definitely. They value it at $15
  15. I paid 75 quid for that one, which is a bit weird because when I sold it 4 years ago, it was £100!
  16. I'll probably sell it in a fortnight, I usually do!
  17. At that time it was about £60 I think - 1999
  18. I think it is Lars...I don't know...I never quite got the hang of it
  19. I know this is in the wrong section but I can't find the technical section apart from the soul source one, so obviously moderators please move this as you see fit. Could some kind soul update my website for me? All I need to do is replace the list of records up there with a big new list, that's all there is to it, except Maria used to do this for me and over time I have completely forgotten how to do it. The site is at www.raresoul.com if someone could do this I will get the list ready and it would be really appreciated You can pm me or email me at pete.smith@freeuk.com cheers pete
  20. Remember what happend with Betty Lloyd - I sold one for as low as £50...there were 200 copies at least.
  21. See above Rich
  22. Sounds about right
  23. It's The Knickerbockers - Wishful Thinking - Challenge, you can always ring us if you need to hear it mate
  24. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
