OK I know where this tape is now, it was quite easy to find, it said SOUL ARTISTS on the label I'll get the gear wired up and stick it on dvd for anyone who wants it. Actually what about if I do it as an mpeg then I can just host it somewhere and you can download it?

It is bad mate, it's that Channel Islands reception, it's very blurry. I got some more bits from the same season I think but I never put the two lots together on one. By the way, in reference to your other point "why do I always take the bait"...what would you do - ignore it and hope it goes away, or stick up for yourself? Can't ever seem to do the first one.

Dave I've got only about an hour of soultrain but I'm sure it's on there, unfortunately it's on a vhs tape and I never put it on dvd so it will take me some serious searching. If I find it, you can have the actual tape because I won't use it again. The quality is not great but it is in colour.

I have got it but there's a guy in another thread saying I'm ripping people off by doing this sort of stuff so whereas I'd have been happy to supply you with it, I'd better not.

Paul, can I just absolve Wigan from this one as I have a tape of the Catacombs and it's being spun there in 73. Not saying they didn't play it...

Do any of the people who've had dvd's off me in the past think I've ripped them off??? At £5 each for stuff you can't get anywhere else. And how would one obtain copyright for a 5 minute clip from a tv station, broadcast 20 years ago, when the tv channel doesn't exist anymore and my video is probably the only existing archive clip? Oh sod this, I'm sick of it.

Well if you don't care what are you moaning on about then? When have I complained about obvious bootlegs and white labels...never, seeing as I sell them. And have you pulled up all the other people on this site who sell pressings? What about fake Bell Sound acetates? No thought not.

So what exactly do people like you get out of trying to make problems for others eh? What are you trying to achieve by this post apart from making yourself look like the class sneak. Even Mike has told me I can sell the dvd's on here because they aren't bootlegs. I complain about ebay when I see my friends being ripped off and try to stop it. You're a desperate man trying to grab a little bit of attention and thanks to you I've just sold the dvd's so cheers for that. If the rest get cancelled, we'll know who's done it.

Oh and by the way - we have been talking about people actually robbing soulies by selling them records that do not exist. I have never ripped off or stolen anything from anyone in my life and if you are suggesting I have, you had better get yourself some legal advice.

He's talking about my dvd compilations, and he can f*** off, the precise reason I sell them is because they aren't available in the shops because they've never been released. If you've come on here just to try and make trouble you'll get booted in to touch pretty quickly.

I'll add to that - I don't know Andy that well and have only met him a couple of times but he's been one of the few people I've met who's actually judged me at face value and not listened to mudslingers. Never ever had a problem of any sort with him, sold a couple of grands worth of records for him too. And paid him! To have to disappear just because of gobshites and gossip, thats just terrible, anyway he'll be reading this so beg him to join, he'd make a real contribution. You're right, I've seen a photo of it in a fanzine. I'm asking about the record because Mr Rix asked about the details so maybe he has another version or something.
