  3. I haven't heard this but it's crap...
  4. No, not heard for maybe 27 years now and can barely remember it, but as Tony says, it lives on through The Jam p.s. it was written by Jeff Wayne (war of the worlds)
  5. I doubt if anyone on here considers themselves a celebrity!
  6. Interesting fact but a load of bollocks as it's 1.47 oops didn't realise someone else said the same thing. Anyway I'm going to win this competition because the shortest ever record played on the scene, and this was played before anyone says it wasn't..is Gordons Gin Theme which is about 45 seconds long. Was on an advertising disc given away in the early 70's.
  7. Blake, I remember that list but I would say it was more like 30 years ago. I immediately bought a copy it's funny that people would remember something as unlikely as an old record list but that one had Shane Martin's "One On One" as a future monster as well, and I've never even heard it to this day.
  8. About 7 or 8 years ago, two copies of this were found at a record fair in Luton or somewhere like that in with a bunch of rock'n'roll and miscellaneous singles.
  9. Because someone deliberately f*cked up his auction just to cause trouble, just like they have done with mine several times in the past, and it's someone off here who keeps doing it...that's why it's relevant to this site.
  10. Yeah I remember, and me, though they let me back on after 4 days when they realised they were wrong.
  11. I quite like that one...though not at northern venues
  12. The middle section of the dreaded* Chandlers - Your love makes me lonely, actually IS a waltz. (*see appropraite posting The Curse Of The Chandlers for reasons why it's dreaded)
  13. Well said Mike. Some people won't have it that the reason we don't want to move on is because we like it where we are. I'm sick of being called a dinosaur, an idiot, narrow minded twat etc just because I choose to like 60's music. I don't want to have my mind open by modern soul, I've tried it, didn't like it, so that's that.
  14. Thanks for that. Now we know where we stand.
  15. I've got the UK Stateside EP with this on if anyone wants it
  16. That Marv Johnson "come on and stop" is an exact copy of a track called "Jamaica Ska" by The Ska Kings which came out on Atlantic in the States. Unless they copied it off him...anyway play them both together, they are identical. One of the best of the latin influenced records is Tommy Navarro - I Cried My Life Away, but there's a few corkers on Garnet Mimms Warm & Soulful LP.
  17. Nobody actually wants to know about it, that's probably why
  18. Oi Soultrader, I know you love me but is there any need for this? Your avatar looks very familiar click that link and you'll see https://stores.ebay.co.uk/PETE-SMITHS-PLANE...0QQftidZ2QQtZkm
  19. Terrible news. Sincere condolences to Nige's family from all of us here. Rest In Peace Nige.
  20. What I'm trying to do Rach is follow their instructions to enable it to change the pictures which appear on all items - I can do it on one item at a time but I've got 300 on there. They say you can change your default options so that includes everything but that's what I can't get to change. Could you have a look if I give you may password?
  21. I did put a smiley on there!
  22. Well I've read it all and I still can't work out how to do it, if I had hair I'd have torn it out by now
  23. No it's just a coincidence that you choose records I think are crap you'd probably think my choices were as bad...
  24. Thank you very much Miss Rachel, much appreciated
