  1. Fantastic. Actually I think there's only about 8 records in that top 50 that I don't have in my mottley personal collection of pressings and reissues
  2. Can't help what ????
  3. Karma does not work Marcelle. I am still waiting for my ex wife to put on 10 stone or all her hair fall out.
  4. Have you got a tracking device on me or something?
  5. I never heard it at Wigan either Eddie, and I used to bump into you most weeks Black & Ward lasted quite a long time, I've got it on tapes from january through to May and then it vanished off the face of the earth. As for The Inspirations - I actually had one in my hands last week. It's a one sided disc on an orange Breakthrough label.
  6. That was just a rumour Eddie, you know what DM was like...
  7. Did folk realise that it's back - it was closed down at the turn of the year but now it's been resurrected...some people prefer it to paypal www.bidpay.com
  8. More gone up tonight including a 1957 R&B classic from Johnnie & Joe!...a very rare Jimmy Ruffin clip from 65...new Kim Weston...
  9. Copy of the record here for sale on Ebay https://cgi.ebay.com/SANDRA-KING-Leave-It-U...1QQcmdZViewItem
  10. Yes, before it had taken off at Wigan - I think it was more of an East Coast sound. Terrible racket.
  11. This entire thread can be summed up perfectly by this statement from Kirsty's post above, this is the crux of the entire matter and it's this that needs to be addressed: if this could be answered then the whole sorry mess might be cleared up once and for all. At the point where the pavillion closed the door, there was 1500 people inside with wristbands (the bouncers had a counter thing as you went in). But there was also approx 300 people outside all with wristbands on & these werent people who had just arrived, they were people like my friends who had been there all weekend. Unless the fairies were giving out the extra 300 wristbands (it was actually Mrs Roberts who was), then of course he knew there was a problem.
  12. Danny Wagner...
  13. One more - never pressed or booted - sells for between 75 and 125 today
  14. Johnny Williams I didn't include because it was being played as a new release. You are spot on with the other three though.
  15. Rotations is one.
  16. I prefer the nearest thing to Wigan, sorry. But I'm more concerned with the comment that the punters attending Stoke or any KR venue whatever 'get what they deserve', if that means a drink, a laugh and a dance, a chance to buy some records and to hear some great music, then great - I got what I deserved!
  17. That's a definite Wigan list for me. From the best ever period as well. Only 4 of that entire 50 never got pressed, reissued or bootlegged!!! Anyone spot them?
  18. When did you last go to Stoke? The 100 Club is not a great venue, it may be a great allnighter but you can't compare that room with it's tiny dancefloor and obstructions everywhere with a huge and usually full hall with a massive dancefloor, balcony running round, separate dealers room etc.
  19. What a f*cking stupid statement. That's literally thousands of people you've just dismissed, including me, so I deserve what exactly for going to the best allnighter in the country?
  20. Sold mine for £150 about 18 months ago - VG++ no centre
  21. Yeah hang on a minute
  22. yes I have, thanks Kirsty
  23. Those are the worst kind!
  24. Too many people make their living from ebay to stand back and say "after you sir"...
  25. Paul I agree with you 100%. It's a forum for discussing records.
