Funny you should say that - I'm in the process of loading up 200 records straight onto ebay as buy it nows. No good to me stuck on the shelf! The ska and reggae stuff is still flying out though!
John - thanks a lot for that info. I knew about the UK issue, though only cos Roy Gelder told me on Monday. Their "What Kind Of Fool" on UK HMV is a great track I think.
This chap wants a word with you
Keith I'm sorry to hear this too. I've been saying it's dying on it's feet for a good year now but I was told that this was just a sales ploy by me! My theory is that most of the returnees from a decade ago have had their fun and are now going back to where they came from, this is why the amount of CD releases from the likes of Goldmine have turned from a river to a tiny trickle.
I was just going to suggest something to you, if you do this already then I apologise, but have you thought about opening an ebay shop? You can do a few hundred on their a month with the right goods and the right prices.
I also worry about whats happening but there's no way I'm going back to working for someone other than myself so I'm going to have to come up with some brilliant idea
David Bowie also translated it into an English version at the same time at the request of some music publishers and it was called Even A Fool Learns To Love. It was never released because of Frank Sinatra's version. Life On Mars uses the exact same chord sequence as My Way. God why do I know all this trivia.

Simon - the question was - DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS RECORD - not a 'this is the greatest record in the world' claim. I hadn't heard it, I played it, I liked it. That's all.
I wasn't referring to me. I was referring to everyone you try to belittle on here. 10 years, ooh, big deal, out of those 10 how many were spent buying northern? Just having buying power doesn't make you king of the northern scene.
My problem with you comes from the time I bought a record off you on ebay and you neglected to send it me or have any correspondence off me despite having been paid for it and I had to open a paypal case to get my money back. No doubt you will 'not remember' this. The record was Living Color.
Sadly I wasn't able to continue this spat earlier and now the momentum's gone but I'll see you in freebasing if you like. But it's not important.
p.s.I'm dim am I. But able to spell.
And you're just a flash c*nt who thinks he knows everything. Do the time, show some respect to your elders and betters instead of just buying your way in.
It's probably pretty unknown to you because you know f*ck all, but it was played in the early 80's, then the late 80's, it was shit then, it's shit now, thats why it didn't go big.
