  1. Anyone seen this before? I'm not trying to say it's rare or anything but I honestly can't remember seeing one with this old style design, and the catalogue number is 2 digits short of the one listed in JM's UK price guide. Enclosed is a copy of Jimmy Radcliffe on DJM, this is what the Don Thomas labels normally look like, and then the Don Thomas scan.
  2. Yes, that's right
  3. I like Cathedrals...
  4. cough
  5. Anyone help with this one, A Little Togetherness, Canterbury issue (C 506) but the A side is credited to The Tempos and the B side to The Younghearts. Never seen one before.
  6. Is it April 1st?
  7. If you download a program called Acoustica MP3 to Wav converter, this let's you reduce your mp3's to a much more forum-friendly size.
  8. Yes it is, I agree..
  9. We Wulfrunians (people of Wolverhampton) were more or less told we had to like this record in the 70's as it was the last record ever played at The Catacombs. It's one of his worst records. terrible.
  10. Thanks for the clue...it's DO YOU BELIEVE IT
  11. Yeah and it was probably £15 so you owe me £150 at least
  12. Nothing to do with the States Paul, I bought an emi of Jumping At The Go Go back in late 75 and it had a US audiodisc label on it - they used to be everywhere.
  13. I ended up with his copy of Flame N King and the writing on the sleeve is identical mate, honestly
  14. That's definitely Richard's writing and it's about as authentic as my male vocal of Thats No Way To Treat A Girl
  15. It must be the modern one that I got wrong! Oh, no it's not, it's the one I've put as Going To A Happening, it's the same drum intro but the first note is different.
  16. I've never seen one that looks like that scan so the ones that Kev Roberts found must have been the originals then
  17. Well I've got: POETS BOBBY HEBB BOB RELF INVITATIONS MICHAEL & RAYMOND ALFIE DAVISON MARIE KNIGHT TOMMY NEAL (or TONY HESTER - SPACELAND - both have same backing track) JERRY FULLER STEMMONS EXPRESS (or PRECISIONS - same backing)
  18. Well it depends if you want to post your own clips or link to someone else's. I've posted up 170 of my own clips and I think I've linked to 3! Anyway it's very easy. Find a clip you like - in this case I'll use a random one of mine, Eric Morris from This Is Ska. On the right of the viewing screen you'll see the URL, it looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwCOou0SejI so what you do to make the clip appear on your actual page is to take everything that appears after the equals sign in the URL, in this case OwCOou0SejI then all you do is type this: (actually not showing up but it's one of these [ followed by the word tube then closed by one of these ], add your piece of the URL then another of these [with a slash immediately following / and then the word tube again and then close it with another ] and in between the two, you add the part of the URL that you save, like this
  19. I don't think the footage exists anymore as it would have definitely been repeated in 92-93 when UK Gold repeated all the episodes from the 70's that they still had. I recorded every one and although Wigans Ovation made an appearance (frightening), the dancers never resurfaced.
  20. Yes there was one with the B side on both sides on ebay 2 weeks back.
  21. Re Len Barry - he did a version of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, the Bunny Sigler version - what I mean is, using the same backing track as the Bunny Sigler one on decca, which is absolutely brilliant. I wasn't sure if it came out on a single or an LP track but I saw it on an Israeli EP last week so I bought it. Was it a single? He also did an unreleased version of Johnny Caswell's You Don't Love Me Anymore....I'm sure Kev Roberts told me that, after he had been in a conversation with John Madara
  22. Never mind the Motown, I think she likes you
  23. Jock, if you're prepared to do some fiddling about converting files, it's quite easy. If this link works, it's all there. I suggest downloading the add on for Firefox. https://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.ph if you decide to do it I'll tell you what software you need and how to do the rest, Craig posted up full instructions a month back but I've found some progs to make it easier since then
  24. Apologies if posted before...
