I can't believe I forgot this. Last year, from a record shop in Dudley, I pulled out a copy of Guitar Ray - You're Gonna Wreck My Life on Shagg for 50p. True story and sold to someone who's a member of SS.
You won't get more than 5 quid for that if you're asking for offers, it's very very common in the UK. In fact there are hundreds more US copies in the UK than there are UK copies! Not trying to piss on your bonfire honestly, but I was lucky to get £3 for it last week. Even the French Stateside ones only fetch a few quid.
I absolutely agree, there's a record on here now listed at - wait for it - £175 more expensive than one of the same that I sold about 2 months ago - but it will cause no end of arguments if commenting begins. I'm all for it and to be honest I'd like people to tell me if I've overpriced something because my aim is to sell as many things as possible!
Dear Sherlock,
The HyTones backed several groups on this show, also I've got a clip of them performing on their own as artists in their own right, that's them and it also looks like a couple of members of The Avons as well..
I doubt if you'd get much more than you would for a Golden World demo. I've had some fantastic stuff on Canadian labels like Reo and Quality and nobody seems to want to touch them for some reason.
Can't - have got this 1000+ item soul list to type up - including every catalogue number - only got as far as "Blue Rock" and I've had enough, 5 hours typing so far, have to pop in here to let off steam
