  1. Brilliant!
  2. It's definitely a Dynodynamic / Harthon Production, you only have to listen to the players. Fantastic track to dance to but they should have left the last 30 seconds or so as instrumental as I can't think of anything worse ever played on the scene apart from Sliced Tomatoes by Sounds Of Lancashire than that ending...God learn to ad lib properly woman!
  3. Terrible version that Beach Girls. It's probably The Toys.
  4. There's no blue bootleg of this, just the black styrene one
  5. Linda Griner has unhappy memories of her treatment at the hands of that gentleman as well.

  10. I know everyone has one of these sob stories but I sold that to Mick Smith for £100, I hadn't ever even heard of it and thought I'd done well!
  11. Yes but was Italy really centre of a big soul movement? Britain was...

  14. If anyone's interested, just put a couple of hundred 70's Northern pressings, boots, 2nd issues and so on onto Discogs, I have another 300 or so of these to put on so please keep checking back, cheers https://www.discogs.com/seller/pete.smith/profile
  15. In 1975 I did a seven mornings and seven nights paper round for £3 a week
  16. Is that the guy with the glasses Jordi? He's the only one I don't know in that pic. Left to right the late Martin Randle (dancing), Barbara Thomas, Steve Smith, Shaun, John Jones, Andy Wall Not my photo, I'd have been tucked up in bed having stopped going way before then. Interesting though that the 'uniform' isn't as people seem to think it was.
  17. Wigan Casino Annual "Spot The Clown Trousers" competition, no one won that year
  18. That link just goes to my ebay for some reason...someone else try it?
  19. Must be incredibly rare - not a promo though
  20. No what I was saying was, they added the stickers in 1975 (well they aren't stickers, it's actually printed onto the cardboard but looks like a sticker)
  21. True - but only managed the one single in the UK I think?
  22. But why release it in Italy - an unknown soul group?
