  10. Yeah I know who the seller is, I'm just surprised they are advertising these as originals, they are as far as I know 80's represses identical to the yellow label ones and therefore not originals. They were being sold by Brooklyn Born for $50 buy it now for months. I've got no argument with Tim but just because these have got bell sound stamps on doesn't make them any less dodgy in my opinion
  11. I've seen him very recently. Still ugly but now a clumsy f*cker as well Hello Andy
  12. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...=ADME:B:EF:UK:2 should look like this
  13. Well she may have been right, there actually is a genre of music called western swing!
  14. Reminds me of a lot of the venues around here - they play both types of music - Tamla and Motown!
  15. Jimmy James was a Torch record and then a youth club fixture. Several UK new releases were played at the time - Johnny Johnson - Honey Bee for one...and the Jimmy James record is great anyway, how can anyone slag it off...it's part of the scene's history
  16. You don't, trust me
  17. Nah, we don't bother with garlic bread, but tragically, Deep pan Pizza seem to have closed down now, never again will we be able to have an "Italian job"
  18. I'm not making a case for Army Winegum being a new soul voice, I just like her album and her voice...do you want this thread moved to freebasing because it's on a non-soul topic??? Cos I know Baz, he can have a word
  19. Did you see the Neil Young film that came out recently? I've got it but not watched it yet, reason I bought it, I'm not keen on his voice but I heard it being reviewed and the guy said basically - if you're not a fan, if you've never been a fan and think he can't sing, after you watch this film you'll be not only a fan but an admirer of the man as well. Now there's a challenge.
  20. Printed off and framed
  21. Hello, You may remember me saying I could supply someone with a copy of Coast To Coast about 8 months back, stupidly I said I'd do this for nothing and ended up doing 36 copies, so that was 36 blanks, 36 sleeves, 36 mailers and 36 lots of postage, therefore I ended up losing money so I'm still getting people asking for copies of it, can I just say, I will do them but the costs have to be paid for, it will only be a nominal figure like 2 quid. thanks.
  22. Yes a thousand times, f*cking boring now, time for something different, don't tell me, she's white and Jewish so under Soul Police laws she can't have any soul whatsoever so she's rubbish. Listen to the album, it's excellent, the first album was great as well. Joss Stone's soul sessions album was also excellent, you people are such snobs.
  23. You ought to try and search for a thread I did called "The curse of The Chandlers", it was a tale of tragedy and comedy at the same time, I revived it about 6 months ago so I won't do it again in case I'm accused of I dunno what but it is funny and it ends with me being injured so that must be why so many laughed at it
  24. The guy with loads of stuff?? No I think he was a Brit living in Spain or somewhere like that
