  3. This is on the website after mypodcast.com closed my account so if you want to download it, go to the podcast title next to the play button, right click it, click 'save link as' and then download it to your pc, it took about 3 minutes on mine.
  4. You'll have a long wait young man
  5. I'll do a track list after the football or tomorrow morning but it does include stuff like Prince George, Skullsnaps, Nights, Bits & Pieces etc
  6. I'm well known for being a 70's and Modern Soul hater, but these are tracks that were played mainly in the period 1974 to 1978 and were loved just as much as the traditional 60's sounds. Some great stuff here and I guarantee that there will be a few tracks here that you will have completely forgotten about. So basically - 70's soul just the way I like it. https://www.raresoul.co.uk/wordpress/?page_id=11 right down the bootom of the page apologies for the big jump on Eloise Laws but it got stuck so I just smacked it one I really hope you enjoy this one! I had great fun putting it together.
  7. yeah cheers mate, got yourself a bit of comission there
  8. I think they are about the same, in fact the black ones are usually water damaged so yeah I would definitely say the same value, so many copies come on the market last couple of years, it went from 300 down to 75 at one point
  9. Ann Heywood does Crook his little finger. Price depends who you buy off. £150 off me I should think. Except I haven't got it. I will have a Bobby Smith any day now though, one of the rarer variations, that'll be 80 to 100 quid. Jokers is something ridiculous like £800 or more. Eddie Spencer is extremely overpriced at £100+ on Arc, should be about £30, on UK Power Exchange £10-£15 tops. Spencer Wiggins only available on a UK bootleg £10-£15. Smith and Jokers are available on reissues.
  10. Think he means £3.50? https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...868778&rd=1
  11. When I collected Bowie I'd have like 15 copies of the same album but each one from a different country. Same with the singles: pic sleeves from everywhere in the world. My ex wife ended up with everything except the original 60's UK singles. Collecting like that is obsessive and ridiculous especially when the guy hadn't put out a decent record in 10 years and we were still buying every variation. Sad.
  12. Sorry, I didn't even know there was a Soultown original!
  13. The Soundville original should be stamped. Don't ask me with what, but thats the difference between the original and the bootleg, otherwise it's a near perfect copy. I found this out to my cost about 8 years back but have forgotten since then.
  14. What a bunch of bastards these people are, you'd think they'd be busy looking for bomb threates and suspicious packages rather than charging innocent collectors £39 for one bloody single. But what I was going to say was, when I pointed out to the seller he'd put the full value of the record ($350) and despite marking it as a gift they'd charged me £39, he offered to pay half of it, so that's pretty good of him I think.
  15. No don't get me wrong, I was going to be totally honest, I just wasn't sure how to approach the question, like the guys Dad is long dead so I think I'll probably just ask if there's still any vinyl lying around the house. Oh I dunno, thats why I'm always giving my contacts away to other people!
  16. Here are a few scans
  17. On the reggae thread, I put one up thats 1:33 long
  18. He's only up on UK's though I think mate
  19. I've got a lead to someone who is related to a guy who was a major producer of the 60's as far as R&B and soul goes, I just wondered how you'd go about getting round to the subject of records and unreleased stuff. The producer is long dead by the way. Or do I just come out and say "by the way, have you any unissued tracks"

  22. Don't be such a baby, the whole point is to win the item and as far as I'm concerned, I make my living buying and selling records so it's by any means necessary. Or you want me to stay up til 4 in the morning to put a bid on do you? For f*cks sake.
