Don't want people to think I'm against the smoking ban - I would definitely have banned it in restaurants, cafes, cinemas etc but not pubs or clubs that's all. Especially not pubs.

What I mean Craig, I never get the chance to go out so it was just the one occasion I could go out, relax with a pint and a fag. And now I can't do that, so it means I just won't go out again. It certainly means I could never dj again, you must have noticed, I chain smoke when djing! (n.b. I don't smoke at any other time of the day except after 8pm!)

I didn't go to the last Connaught purely because of the smoking ban. It was the only time I was able to go out and have a drink and a smoke, every other night I'm at home being Dad. So whereas it hasn't affected many people, it did affect one.

I will Craig but it just gets a bit tiring you know, scrapping with people who don't know you from Adam apart from the fact they read I don't like The Carstairs so there must be something wrong with me. Just to expand on this a bit - it's like if you're in a pub with say 10 mates and you're having a boisterous disagreement amongst yourself and someone you've never met in your life comes over and starts joining in the argument...

I'd rate Lenny Curtis at £500 and in my opinion that is a little high, though no doubt you could sell loads at that price...bizarre to think I bought this for £5 at the Old Vic and SOLD IT for the same price about 2 months later. But the last time I had it was about 6 years back and it was £250 then.

I just try to enjoy the site and I'm happy to help absolutely anyone and indeed have helped probably hundreds of people now with records, dvd's, computer progs, advice, whatever - yet every month there's always one person who joins up simply because they think they can make themselves look good by having a pop at me and presuming everyone's going to think they are great for doing so. No intros, come out of nowhere, no respect for the site or it's personnel, 2 posts and they think they are up there with everyone else. Try putting a bit of time in first.

It might 'book' at £100 but nobody ever gets that much. I think my unplayed one only went for about 40 quid.
