I disagree - not that it's a great record, cos it is - but thats 3 I've had this year, thats the way I look at it. Having said that, his other one on Barry, I never used to be able to get 75 for that and now it's going for double so it's swings and roundabouts

It's like buying a painting or a sculpture or an antique. People buy whatever makes them happy. On the other hand, I look at my brother working 40 hours a week on crappy shifts bringing home £200 a week, and I sell one record for £200 some days. Doesn't make a lot of sense really.

Even thats steep, I've got one I was going to list at under £100 next list! Hey what do we know...

Always amazes me that these things stick in the brain - this same girl, her favourite record was Make It Last by The Stylistics, B side of You Make Me Feel Brand New I think, or have I got that wrong! Anyway she only seemed to like listening to B sides when she was tearing my heart apart the horrible witch...cough...sorry got a bit carried away there

I personally go by the play grade so if I had something that looks terrible I'd just say "looks terrible - plays great - so to be safe, grading at VG+". I think Dante covered all bases really.

Bizarrely I didn't have a Betty Llloyd for 3 years then the month before last I got two in a week. Expect to pay between 250 and 400 for that. Johnny Howard you should be able to get for 200. Thelma Lindsay 150. I can sell you a Gene Toones right now for £2000.

Dante are you trying to tell me that Darrell Banks on Volt is worth double 120 which is 240, if so, I'm afraid you are delusional as is the person who priced it at 200 in the book

Chalky I agree with Dave - it was just before I moved back here that everyone started asking about it - 6 years - not saying it wasn't played before that but not to this degree
