  1. I'd buy them all off you mate, really good titles, but nobody is buying anything off me so it's all pointless!
  2. Never understood why this album is so rated, 2 good tracks and loads of filler, some Coulter-Martin pop as well.
  3. The only problem is - it only reports auction prices and therefore these are not accurate figures! If several people want the same record it goes for much more than it would on set-sale
  4. All depends who you ask to be honest. So if I were you I'd wait til you get four or five replies to this then work out an average. Personally, I'd sell them for 150, 80 and 80. Wooden Nickels is rare. Constellations isn't rare but has had it's price inflated falsely. Frances Nero has always been around and although on good days you can get 100, it doesn't happen very often.
  5. Well it's not likely to is it now you've thrown down the gauntlet, as we speak I am organising a gang of crack musicians to appear on my first production including my 20 month old son on biscuit tin percussion, which is far more preferable to electronic percussion anyway. I do know what you mean though Chris, except you can't expect everyone to show respect to someone who doesn't show any to anyone else.
  6. Yes, reddy-orange is the new pink!
  7. Reddy-orange
  8. Who cares what anyone else thinks, it's not one of my favourites but it's perfect Northern Soul, great to dance to, breaks for clapping, catchy tune...
  9. Well there's two separate series - one from 75 and one from 78-79 - first lot were all Soussan Mirwood things, second lot included Garnet Mimms, Holly St James, Herb Ward, Jackie Forrest, even Karen Young!
  10. Not sure how much this is worth, in my day it always used to be £75, anyway the bad news is, this got left in the sun and now has a warp, a big one, though it still plays perfect - I don't know whether to have a go at flattening it. I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER - EX MAKIN UP TIME - VG+ clicks a couple of times £30 anyone?
  11. Congratulations on the most bumped post ever
  12. I'll take that as a no then..
  13. Cos someone called me Petes the other day and I said why are you calling me Petes and he said he thought thats what my nickname was on Soul Source so I said f*cking Petes are you having a laugh and he says no so I said well it's supposed to say Pete S and he said oh right so I said don't ever call this number again
  14. I sold it about an hour ago - and the only other one I've got left is Don't Pretend, I forgot I sold the lot to Swoz the other week to put in that shop he runs, reckons his a big mate of yours so he should see you right
  15. I think we've given this album more than enough publicity on two separate threads now, would anyone object if I closed the topic?
  16. Uptempo traditional 60's Northern Soul and nothing else
  17. Without meaning to sound contrary, beggar the thought, everytime I buy a collection of pressings there's one in there, I've got one now in fact that I've had for a year or so. I used to see loads of Soul Fox records at Brighton record fair for some reason, like 10 copies of He's Alright With Me, Personality Theme etc It's a great record but I couldn't ask more than £6 for it...but then again, I am the ASDA of record dealers so if you buy one Soul Fox, you get the second half price
  18. How come when I needed these nobody had them for sale and as soon as I get a set, they start appearing...bloody typical
  19. All posted in sales section
  20. I've got a tape - in fact it was one of my podcast tapes - 2nd anniversary 1975, Alan Rhodes plays Let Me Do It (he also plays the instrumental of Don't Pretend)
  21. There's 88 albums here, the last dozen or so I just chucked in as freebie/extras. PLEASE READ: I have only graded the vinyl, not the covers. Some covers will be worn, some will be mint. Now about 30% of these lay in storage for ages and got damp mould on the vinyl, this is very annoying but as soon as they are washed with warm water they return to their original condition, I just haven't got the time or patience to do it. I'm selling these as is, I don't want them and I don't want them back! Also, whoever wants them will have to collect, or I'll meet them somewhere. I want £275 for these. All are UK unless stated. 23. Blimey I remember having an issue and a demo at the same time once, I kept that issue for years til I had to flog it - still, went to my best mate, and he's still got it. I'd say the issue is way rarer than the demo.
  24. Thousands, can you or anyone think of one Soul Fox record that's rare?
