  1. Just found these bought back some memories..I don't even have half of those https://pic2.piczo.com/roundblackrecords/?g=23482535&cr=2 nb I would buy an issue 11 if anyone has one
  2. I've not even seen one for about 6 years
  3. Roy Gelder from Darlaston has a copy of this same as yours...
  4. Late 60's I think. Mick Smith bought one off Ian Clark about 4 years back for a really daft price, £200 or something, it had the groups contact number on the label and also Miles Graysons I think. I offered him 600 quid but he said no, so it was off to vinyl carvers for me, though he did copy the label for me so it looks pretty good
  5. Fantastic record
  6. https://cdbaby.com/cd/dhalljoates
  7. I've got it but I hadn't contemplated selling it. You can make me an offer if you like, you never know...lovely copy this one
  8. Probably double that on UK Columbia now, I once picked up that and the UK Vibrations album on Columbia out of the same box at Brighton record fair, £35 the two, those were the days..
  9. Really surprised about that Idle Few being from 1969...what with the PJ proby version being from 67. Learn something every day!
  10. No need to be facetious Dave, unless you know of a good source of unlimited copies, there's about one copy up for sale per year.
  11. Think it's by Don Woody on Decca, I've got it on an MCA reissue
  12. I was referring to the people who pay ridiculous prices for records in auctions which they could buy for sometimes up to 100% cheaper if they bought them set sale. And the people who pay £50 for £5 pressings. They're out there somewhere...
  13. Why? It's the only way to get it on 45, or it was, and theres nothing wrong with the sound quality either
  14. Not one word of what I said was directed at you but if you want to be paranoid that's up to you.
  15. No it's not something I'd ever buy again because it's such a mess of a record, if I get one you'll be welcome to it. People should resist this ridiculous hyping of records which aren't rare or hard to find and use a bit of common sense. Just because a record sells for a large sum in an auction it means absolutely nothing except that two people want it badly and most people don't care if they pay 5 times the real value.
  16. F*cks sake, why are there no nutters on my mailing lists, I sold my copy of that for £25 and now 7 years later I wouldn't sell it for more than £50.
  17. list updated, I also have THE FABULETTES - THE BIGGER THEY ARE - MONUMENT DEMO MINT- £35
  18. Mac it's about time you told this guy to either send back the record or shut up, tell him you want to see a full scan not a partial one and if the record he returns to you is not the one you sent him, you will press charges against him for fraud

  20. No we had other stuff for that...never touched dope, it just didn't appear in the circles we moved in, might have done later but in the 70's it was never around
  21. It's not worth more than he listed it for...
  22. I think that info is incorrect, I've never seen an "off white" bootleg of this, the first one was a styrene job with a yellow label, rubbish sound quality and done along with Donna King etc. Much later came a counterfeit which looks identical to the original but doesn't have the matrix stamp. I've never even heard of their being a real white demo of this though I'm not saying there isn't.
  23. They are, but so is the original, thats not the right colour in that scan, but what Dave says is a good indicator, the sound is crap on the bootleg (though not that loud on the original either)
  24. No, I'm telling you that the author said that the air at the Casino was thick with dope smoke which I somehow seem to have missed on the 80 or so visits I made
