  8. To all those of you out there that know "The Nogger", he's been a bit down in the dumps again lately. If you haven't called him for a while or dropped him a PM do it today and lift his spirits. He misses the scene's camaraderie and it is very hard when you are ill and stuck indoors on miserable days in November. ! Karen & Rob
  9. Very sad news, Top bloke and a true soul, Karen knew him well from the early 80s RIP Karen & Rob
  10. Hi Davey Boy, The Great Western calleth ?? I would say at the moment Swindon is the most Souless town in the UK However there is stuff in Bath, Cheltenham, Worcester, 100 club, Bristol, Weston Super mare etc to look out for and worth travelling to, as most of the Swindon gang travel to all-nighters and not soul nights as such.Good buch of people down there, why not start something yourself ! take care Rob & karen

  19. Spotlight is out in the UK Monday 20th October by all accounts. Heard this out in the summer, was not sure what it was at the time so looked it up and then bought the CD, it sounds like something else that i can't put my finger on the radio edit is going to be issued as a limited 7" 45 as well It will cross on to the Northern floors as the beat is just right, its also a good tune to mix in to any spot Rob
  20. had the pleasure of seeing "THE VOICE" of the Tops a few time over the years. This really is the end of an era with so many of the greats of soul now gone. RIP Rob & Karen

  24. was very sorry to hear this although i had a long chat with Steve a few months ago about the night and the problems he was facing in a small town like Grantham. Unfortunately it will be one of many good nights to close during the next 18 months as crowds dwindle and the scene dives back underground. Congratulations for the work you did, at least you tried mate and your heart and soul were in it ! Rob & Karen
