Correct Herr Schlamp .
The B & S article on WC's 4th anniversary , states that IL and CC were among among the DJs who played there , following its' opening in the September of 1973 .
Knowig Colin as I do , it has never come up in conversations I have had with him relating to the 70s and venues , that he
" did " WC , hence leading me to think he did not ....... but I could be wrong .
As for IL , this is where the debate come in - did he or did he not ? I thought he did not ( see my statement in my original post ) , but again , it could have been on a night that I did not attend .
You were probably banned Godfrey

There seems to have been a "reality Check" with prices from the original gumph
i'd like to wish all who are going and the organisers the best of luck with this-from small acorns mighty oaks do grow--
i'd looked early on and unless you "Camp" it was way too expensive
however with a bit of savvy it can be done at a reasonable price
Ive listen to wayne on BBC Radio2 and its all systems go--if my knee was in better shape and the battery not flat on the karrman Ghia I'd seriously consider it
HAVE A GREAT TIME ALL WHO ATTEND

Does Size Matter
in All About the SOUL
Posted
So here we go just HOW BIG is your collection ?
Our lad has just bought a new I pod thingy (his second) as he has 4,000 tunes on his first one.
This set me thinking about getting to the 4,000 Northern / rare mark took me about 15 years or so
Its took him 2 years-music daft now, but sadly only a smattering of soul amongst the Oasis / Killers/ Hendrix / Muse etc.
I will be shortly examining my collecting but its in the region of 15,000 45 s / pos 2,000 Albums / and another 1,000 CDs
so if you played everything there are possibly 70,000 tracks to listen to, obviously many duplicated on the CD s but still there.
So what's your opinion on size, I think mines too big, but its hard to part with a lot of them-however crap !
5 copies of Wayne Gibson for starterscould whittle it down to 2
I'd like to run at about 1,000 45s but don't think I can.
Any thoughts ?
Rob
