  1. Red demo deadwax says 83647X at 8 o clock. At 10 o clock MR in the circle. Then 9852 at midday. Not been booted on Bell as far as I can tell.
  2. Bought a Robert John Raindrops love and sunshine in about 1975 Yellow UK demo. The fecker fell out of the sleeve and chipped a chunk out of the run in groove right to the start. It happened within 5 minutes of buying it. Pilgrims Inn Bedford where I used to live!!
  3. Not "dick waving" but about 20 years ago I was guest DJ and the lad before me played Billy Woods Let me make you happy. I said to him about there being two copies in the same venue. I showed mine his was the 70,s boot. I was pissed off to say the least but I guess that is what happens with the top end stuff. He had coloured his to make it look real as well.
  4. Afternoon guys, I have been doing a spreadsheet of the collection as I found I had 3 or 4 doubles. I have also been chasing and bidding on stuff I already have so enough was enough! I have seen that The Pointer Sisters Send him back and Marsha Gee Baby I need you are boots. No problem as I thought they were BUT Gloria Jones Come go with me is another matter. The copy is a black issue on vinyl. The label is sharp and a "matt" finish. The deadwax is 67091 (at 6 o clock). Then -1A then R-550. I think there is a daisy stamp but it is so feint that I cant honestly say yes or no. The dead wax is the same as the White Demo according to John Manships bootleg guide which he says would be original. The VERY feint daisy mark is at 9 o clock next to the bottom of the Uptown logo. Can anyone give me a clue please? Thanks Steve

  11. Record arrived today great service Top Guy. Thanks Jens
  12. Jackie Wilson Sweetest Feeling.
  13. Maybe try Mick Smith, Pete Smith or John Manship. I guess one may know. All 3 are on Facebook. Not sure if they are on here.
  14. F**k me great set that IMO.
  15. Sorry Pete. I am mates with Scotty (Big Scotty) from Stockport. All the best. Steve
  16. Which Scotty?
  17. That is so bizarre Paul. Today I received in the post from USA The Furys I,m Satisfied with you on a Keyman White Demo. ( Sorry If I am talking double dutch ). This record is fairly difficult to find nowadays on the USA label. However it should be far easier on the UK release label Jayboy. Which ever way ALL the tunes mentioned are top drawer oldies from the 70,s when they first got played on the scene. Good luck with your searches.
  18. Hi mate just a thought are you sure it is Justify/Justified? Could it be Satisfied Ben Aitken possibly? Check out you tube maybe? Good luck
  19. That's it thank you'
  20. Going round in my head. I think it was c/u as "Like a good girl should". I am fairly certain it contained the lyrics "Nobody ever said it was gonna be easy". I think it was a Gary Rushbrooke tune. Thanks folks. Steve
