  1. I was at Pete Scotts place the other day. I was fairly good but I think Gethro was about the most graceful. Pete Wickham from Hemel Hempstead was VERY good. Steve (Danny) Daniels from Peterboro could spin nice lad who I believe died a couple of years ago. Steve Foran
  2. Nice set sadly I had to leave before 11 as I was up and out early on Sat.
  3. Just seen on FB. John Manship saying his reply email is not working for some reason. "we are on the case". Seems this could be the reason for this issue. Says contact sales@ for contact if that helps??
  4. Great set. I could not make last Friday but I will be there on 12 Jan. Just my sort of venue. All the best. PS you played most of my playlist
  5. A couple for me THE BEST 4 Tops Shake me wake me. "And as the tears streamed down my face" Just pure raw soul ( sorry no rhyme) The most bizarre Morris Chestnut Too darn soulful. Did you put the S in Sweet Did you put the M in meat ?? OR N in neat? Did you put the C in Charm Really hard to tell. Clearly N in neat makes sense. But Alan Pollard had a theory that he was spelling out his initials as in Sweet Morris Chestnut. Sounds very much like M not N.
  6. Correct Pete. I was the second buyer. 3rd buyer sent it back drilled after he got his money back.
  7. There is a 10" Jobete alt take with an extra verse somewhere of this tune. JWIMS. Great motown tune if not the best. My mate Alan Pollard had it not sure where it went after his death, it was not there in the collection. Maybe sold when he was out of work.
  8. Cheers. Hopefully that should be ok. When is the next night is it monthly?
  9. Again a top set I must get over. When is the next night please? Steve Foran

  13. John Vincent and Keith Minshull. Also I think a 1 of...... A lad from Glasgow called Jimmy (I know I know). Dark hair and tashe. I was friendly with him back then. He was helped by Richard to get the spot.
  14. Ian Levine and Simon Soussan a couple more.
  15. Hi mate Yes I would like it I have no idea of value at all though. Would you take £30 plus £5 p+p? I honestly have no idea of value here. Please let me know what you think? I am basing my value on various LPs with one good northern track like Clyde MacPhatter, O C Smith, Towanda Barnes/Ohio Players etc. OK? Thanks Steve
  16. Aaron Neville Tell it like it is Parlo LP wanted please. Please PM if you have one for sale. Thanks Steve
  17. Bernie Williams is really an iconic tune. Always been rare. So not over surprised at £4k. My copy is worn but I would not part, but could not go £4k to upgrade either.

  23. It could have been the Ian Levine Strange World of Northern Soul take. You Tube it.
