  7. Answering my own question when pressed further I asked for a photo. He sends a picture of a UK issue and a US WDJ. He does not seem to understand the difference. AVOID Henry Raynor in Florida.

  13. The girl from Leigh on This England beat me in the semi finals. Richard played Sandi Sheldon and Yvonne Baker. It was 76. I am sorry I cant recall her name but I understand she is still on the scene. As am I.
  14. Brilliant research
  15. Can anyone recall the last one that was sold by John? About 12 months I think. Can you remember the final sale price please? Cheers Steve Foran
  16. I think Lou Pride is one of those records that is truly rare IMO. I recall Dave Withers and Rod Shard saying they had never had one in all their years? I don't know how many exist but it rarely comes to market. Where as Eddie Parker, Larry Clinton and Gwen Owens have been up for sale/auction a few times. Oh the weird world of Northern Soul.
  17. Thanks mate I could have sworn the Al Scott were WDJ copies?? Happy new year Hammie! Cheers Steve
  18. Couple for me. Anyone seen or got Jades I'm where its at Nite Life ISSUE like Willie Wade? Also I have asked before. Anyone seen an Al Scott ISSUE or Mr Soul demo?
I visited on Saturday with 3 mates. I went once before Covid. Excellent venue. The playlist was totally excellent with many underplayed tunes getting some airplay. I am afraid I dont really know the DJ's but the Detroit stuff was excellent and very much up my street. All in all I think this place is the best around. Keep it up and well done Cheers Steve

  20. It was played at Yate as a cover up. It was 77/78 as I remember the car I had then. Not sure who was the DJ. I did a bit of stuff for Black Echoes and it was in the column. John Harvey (Kojak) was involved at that point.
