  3. Pete youtube it mate. Good late 60,s / early 70,s footage.
  4. Thanks Rob Messer at Hip City Records for the record as you know really pleased. Thanks again publicly .
  5. Good stuff. Glad Russ and Richard can be together no matter what.
  6. The acetate that Dave Flynn had/has on Bell Sound is the dogs to me. Credited to Tommy Mealy ( I think from memory).
  7. Machine caps locked got locked no offence intended.
  8. WELL I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY.
  9. I used to own that. Sold it years ago. Nice.
  10. Yes we used to meet many from Corby and Kettering at North Park WM Club on a Saturday. Also the all dayers at Kettering Central Hall. Think that was the name. Ivan or Ivor with ginger hair. Various others Heather was my girlfriend for a while around 75. Think that was right cos I was 18 and she got me the Moments LP Sharp. Still got it.
  11. Some trivia for you. Lenny Curtis ( aka Jimmy Mack Harrison)is married to Darlene. She is a sister of one of the Tams. There you go FREE info.
  12. Bedford centre of all things Northern. Great venues like Bletsoe in the very early days. Some very good collections, regular soul nights like Kempston Rovers. Then the famous bus to Wigan run by a company called Souls believe it or not. I moved away in 79 but you still have Pottsy running Stewartby. Great lads like Andy Felts, Hammie, Tony Warot and loads more. What more could you want? And its north of Kent.
  13. Thanks Nev maybe that's it.
  14. Thanks chaps very informative. AND b*llocks. MUST have dreamed it.
  15. BUT has anyone seen it for sale recently please?? I assume I have dreamt this. Any help appreciated.
  16. Hi everyone, I am convinced I saw a copy of Tommy Dent for sale in the last couple of weeks. I am certain the seller had about 5/6 top tunes for sale. He described the record as one of maybe 4/5 Soul Sam and Arthur Fenn were playing copies. I was talking last night and Butch was added to the list. Can anyone help please?? Much appreciated. Thanks.
  17. Frankie Karl red issue for me. Just being a poser I guess.
  18. Generally feel that all of the comments on here have been accurate. I actually expected more negative comments. I enjoyed the programme Richard and Ian D really good. Not keen on the "celebs". No idea who the black guy with the hat is and what he had to do with it?? Colin was good, Ian is a diva aint he? Pete S puts a good point about his personal highs and lows. I think the scene is like that, even when you look at WC in the 70,s with its poor playlist. Then how Richard, Gary etc found and played some of the best stuff towards the end. Would be great to see extended stories about Stafford and 100 club. Even the revival story with us oldiesgoing out to play every few weeks. The thing I really love is hearing something I don't know then trying to find a copy. A good hours TV in general.
  19. I am fairly certain it was and recall seeing one years back.
  20. Bit thick here. IS THAT A LEGIT COLOURED ISSUE?
  21. Well back in the day my mum used to play my bloody vinyl when I was out?? Only found out in recent years!!
  22. No I don't think he did. They recorded right through and he always seemed to be on lead.
  23. Yes was thinking that myself.
  24. Trouble with the Skullsnaps LP is that it is SO hard to tell a real one. John Manship once told me that it was the number of Run Out Groove Turns and where the Matrix number is placed in said grooves. Cant fully remember. Hard one to clear up. Unless someone knows an easier method of course.
