  10. Don't think there is a legit WD of it. As previously said only given with the LP as a "tempter" . It is blue/green. Think the LP is The NEW Silhouettes. On the single it says "For Promotion". So it was not a WD and I think this is to promote the "New Silhouettes! They were a 50,s group trying to relaunch their career. Hope that helps. Well done Dave Pinch
  11. Ditto to that sad news. Same with the Bits n Pieces story to me really interesting.
  12. Don't think that is correct as Levine did not believe it existed at the time. He did not have one and tried to get RW to let him into the secret. I think it may have been linked to James Bond by RW for obvious reasons but not sure about that! Whatever the story I don't think it was covered up for very long.
  13. Personally I would speak to Pete Smith.
  14. Looks like a real one!
  15. Remember it well Scotty and TIm. Well said Steve "diddy" Morgan.
  16. Very Ronnettes sounding. Very Spectorish as well. Googletime!
  17. Wow! If that is it. Well done. I had no clue!
  18. And on SS7 ??? Could be a Joe Simon connection??
  19. Someone had this in Wants the other day
  20. Hi Bernie Steve Foran here. Phil was also my postie and often wrote rude messages on my record buys! Also his Utd jibes v my Spurs comments always made me smile. I reckon I have known Phil since about 79/80. That's a bloody lifetime. My whole family are in shock at his passing so suddenly. All our love. Steve Foran, Lesley, Tom and Liam. I would be honoured to help organise a tribute night anytime.
  21. Hi mate what price Never for me please?
  22. It was more clear cut in the 70s due to the turnover of tunes. So something like Leon Haywood was an oldie where as Yvonne Baker was not! Now of course IF I own it I most likely is an oldie. That's because I am an oldie now!
  23. Really sad news Phil dropped dead over the weekend. Phil was a keep fit guy. Always running , marathons, cross country etc. He rode his bike all over. Phil was very much at the forefront of soul music travelling miles for many years. Seeing live gigs, upfront all nighters and soul nights. I am stunned he has died. A good mate, he was also my postie! Always having a crack about his Utd v my Spurs. Naughty comments written on record parcels mentioning my latest purchase in rude terms. I am shocked. So sorry for Bernie , Alex and his family.
