What a fantastic find, this venue is, by Phil. The response to the news of the revised date after his enforced convelescense, is already wholeheartedly positive...looks like it could well be a packer! Carole McCarthy, Gibby and Ian Wills but in immense shifts at the functions launch, tunes off the scale...with the promise of more to come as the immediate policy is one of constant dj rotation....expect the unexpected everytime!.....could well be the new flag bearer for west yorks!! Dj profiles to come!️️️️️

The Hole In The Wall Soul Club presents A selection of top quality oldies, rarities and underplayed soul music of the uptempo kind..floor filling sounds, ALL on original vinyl ONLY, supplied by a cracking line-up of djs. The innaugural event last November was a huge success, and well enjoyed by those who attended. The venue has a fabulous, spaceous dancefloor, plenty of comfortable seating, a large car park plus competitive bar prices - food on request. St Mary's Social Club is just off Bradford Road ( A562 ) and is within easy reach of the M62 ( from j27 or 28 ) and A1M motorway network, approx 10 to 12 mins either. The Church, is a freemasons hall, situated in Crewe Street just off St Michael's Street ( A5191 ) the venue is a 10 minute walk from Shrewsbury town centre. It's location is within easy reach of A5, A49, A53, M54 and M6 road networks. If anyone is considering an overnight stay, there a number of hotels, all with parking, within 5 to 10 mins of the venue's vacinity including: Travelodge - Bayston Hill/Battlefield, Premier Inn - Riverside, Holiday Inn Express, Ebstree, Lion Hotel - Wyle Cop, Abbots Mead - St Julian's Friars. Last event was a good response after a very busy nye. On now to March and back guesting again, the very popular Telfordian, Stuart Pitt. Stu, along with Rob Munt, is resident at the very successful St.George's C.C. soul nites, and also just so happens to be a regular attendee at the Church along with his good lady, Sharon. Pretty sure he'll have his playbox sorted and a good mix ready to entertain the loyals and first timers, as is always the case with this particular venue, now into it's 17th year of Soul in Shrewsbury. If you've not been before and are up for something different, as well as a unique venue, then this place and all the soulies who frequent it, will offer you a warm welcome!..Not to mention our resident djs, Mark & Russ with their fingers on the pulse of what music is liked best!️️️️️

The Golden Lion sits on the junction of the A6003 Rochdale Road and A646 Burnley/Halifax Road, Todmorden. The town bridges the Lancs/Yorks border hence the postcode being OL. Todmorden js within easy reach of major cities, Manchester and Leeds as well as Rochdale, Littleborough, Bury, Burnley, Halifax, Brighouse and Bradford. The train station is 5 mins walk from the venue and bus station similar. Nearest free parking is at Morrison's just a short walk too. Anyone contemplating an overnight stay...not too many facilities available, best bets being The Queens which is adjacent to the the train station and the White Lion Hotel, in Hebden Bridge about 4 miles away ( check out their websites for room availability. ) The nearest Travelodge and Premier Inn facilities are located in Burnley, about 8 miles away, which is roughly 20 minutes by car or taxi. The Golden Lion serves food, having a Thai kitchen on it's premises. There are also several good eateries besides, serving a varied range of food.

Bob, we took on the challenge of seeking out all the US and UK sleeves Tim had at the warehouse and put them all in order, maybe took us 3 weeks. In demand they are especially OSO easy peasy for the likes of Banks or Dyson when theyre down in Tod.
