I would'nt say you were stupid Pete. It's nearly impossible to accurately gauge what a record is worth for a quick sale (obvious titles excepted). Popsike is next to useless and E-bay is too hit and miss. As you said, you needed to sell it and priced it accordingly. Best, Dave

I attended the 100 club anniversary where the 'Chuck Jackson' 45 was handed out and seem to remember a lot of copies left behind as it was considered too slow for many peoples taste at the time. Can anyone confirm this or was it just a figment of my imagination? Brilliant record BTW. Dave

I saw him about 11 years ago at The Komedia in Brighton and he put on a superb performance. A true showman who had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand, and he didn't even play any of his Decca sides. Dave

Deeper Than That / Shiggy Diggy This is the official HARTHON REISSUE from 1974 with first rate sound quality. Vinyl is in VG++ condition and there is slight spindle wear to the label. James Brown: People wake up & live / Give me some skin On Polydor 14409 (Issue) Soul Source recommended grading used. An error at the pressing plant means that the record label(s) give "People wake up and live" on both sides but flip side plays "give me some skin". Label (s) are as new with no signs of wear. Styrene is overall in Vg++ conditiion but there is a visible scuff which effects play for the first 30 seconds. I have had this record from new (old store stock) and played it 3 or 4 times and the scuffing noise has diminished each time. It may be that the noise dissappears completely after a few more plays but then again it may not. Just so you know exactly what you are getting I have included a sound file taken directly from the record so you can judge for yourself.
