You can buy into anything these days. The mid life crisis brigade used to go out and buy Harleys or have an affair with Janice from work. Now it's 15K Lambrettas and the local Northern Soul night where you can buy a "Best of Northern Soul" 2000 track cd for a fiver.

Wait a minute...I never saw him? Virgin Iplayer is not the best at skipping...and now proven so as I never even saw him. I was just skipping past the feckin Proclaimers and a terrible male singer with a quiff. Must be too black for some...haha...yeah alright if you say so Dave.

I watched on playback,she was the only artist I didn't have to fast forward! Like the track and those horns were amazing. Was nice to really hear the band playing to their full potential. She gets a bit shouty toward the end but I'll let her off as I like her :-)

I haven't been to the 100 much in recent years but I definitely prefer the cellar club atmosphere to the big ballroom type venue. I will have to combine a visit to my mate Lisa so we both can come :-)

You mean "Austin ambassador Y Reg" ?? We are going to get in trouble soon from the we are the mods!! :-) Off topic posts and that. Ok reason....my brother always called me Reg Molehusband when I was learning to drive and when I had scooters...based on the old PIF. Since the internet was invented (I work in IT) I have always been Reg. That's it really Bloody mystique lost now...hahaha!!

Hiya Phil. Maybe I have got the wrong end of the stick re the screens. In my cantankarous mind I 'm thinking it's a cheat, there are so many blag merchants out there anyway they don't need any extra help. But a couple of you have said that it is just to prove you are playing the real thing...although some boots do look damn good these days so I'm not so sure about that :-) Maybe it curbs the mitherers from hassling the djs at places like Stoke, Who knows. I guess if the punters like it fair enough :-) Best Reg

I know there is an app on your phone for music but it doesn't find anything too rare. So I guess it would do the trick. Len,just me with the dog eared notebook then :-)

I am not convinced. What next a Northern soul app for your phone that tells you what the record is? Whatever happened to pestering the dj and a dog eared note book.
